Seaside Hideaway

The room was small but perfectly formed.! We booked a small double but it was far more comfortable & roomy than we were expecting. Jim & Sarah were wonderful hosts . We had a lovely postcard greeting in the room along with some chocolates A lovely touch. The breakfasts were amazing. Compliments to Sarah on her homemade compote & marmalade ! The girls who served us were so friendly & cheerful but also professional. Will be recommending to friends & family & hope to visit again ourselves. Thank You, Jim & Sarah

Not so much a dislike in any shape or form but we would have appreciated having a bin in the bathroom , as my partner has a stoma. We didn't make a thing of it as were only staying for 2 nights. I have no doubts what so ever that it would have been addressed straight away had we done so. Just maybe something to bear in mind?

This was the best holiday we had experienced. The hotel is well positioned for discovering Scarborough and local places with great bus services right on your doorstep. The hotel is beautiful and homely. Sarah and Jim can’t do enough for you. Their facilities are great. They have a great menu and their meals are exceptional. Already booked our next visits.

The accommodation was excellent, the staff were so friendly and welcoming you were a stones throw from the seafront and the whole experience was lovely

Nothing not to like

The hosts ,Jim and Sarah were so friendly and welcoming! Nothing was too much trouble! The rooms have been tastefully decorated and refurbished to a very high standard! The food was well presented and beautifully cooked to perfection! We decided to book an evening meal as well as having the breakfast. Both meals were delicious! There was also a small bar where you could chat to other guests or sit quietly and have a drink before or after the evening meal.It was great not to have to go out in the evening and have to find somewhere to eat after being out all day.I would highly recommend staying at Seaside Hiderway and I'm sure we will back again before not too long!!
