Everything about the villa was fantastic. The host (Olga) was lovely, easy to contact later with questions we forgot to ask on arrival. We are a family of eight; six adults, one small child and a baby, and the place was plenty big enough for us all to find our own private space as well as hang out in communal areas. En-suite bathrooms in all four bedrooms, lovely upstairs balconies, very large living/dining rooms downstairs, and fabulous outdoor space with garden, a great pool, sun all day and amazing views across Loulé. The villa was generously equipped with all necessary kitchen items, poolside and barbecue accessories. We loved this holiday, and would return to Villa Quinta da Violeta any time.

There was nothing we didn't like, nothing could have been better. It was a bit difficult to find initially, but that's no-one's fault, and it was only because a local road was closed. Once we got used to the route we had no problems. You do need a car, I see some reviews from people who didn't, no idea how they coped. Rentals from Faro not expensive.

The villa is located on top of a hill and the views are amazing. Although this can also mean it’s a little bit more windy at times. The villa has everything you need and the kitchen is fully stocked of all the equipment. The beds are all very comfortable as is the living room.

Some areas of the property are starting to get a little tired and do need repairing but it didn’t stop us from enjoying the villa. The road leading to the villa is unmade so take it slowly if you have a hire car. They were also doing lots of repairs on the roads up the hill so we had to divert quite often but hopefully it means they are making the roads a lot nicer to drive up.

De ligging is dubbel: zeer rustig…maar dus ook een beetje afgelegen. Geen erg mits een auto.

Der Ausblick ist ein Traum. Dazu super ausgestattet, toller Pool, wir hatten wirklich eine tolle Zeit. Früherer Check in war möglich. Für uns war einfach alles top.

Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist was die Straßenverhältnisse angeht nicht ganz einfach. Unser absoluter Geheimtipp: Uber nutzen um in die Stadt zu fahren. Dazu über Uber deliver Einkäufe liefern lassen, das klappt super.
