The breakfast was great, I took the egytian breakfast. Delicious! Very nice and helpful staff. Their wish is to make you happy. And the view from the balcony was amazing.

The isolation of the doors is not that good. If someone speaks to loud on the corridor...

I can’t recommend this hotel enough . Excellent value for money , amazing staff and the view from our balcony was just gorgeous. if you are fed up with large chain hotels with no personal touch than Penguin Village is for you . the team couldn’t do enough for you, we booked our transfers and trips directly with reception every thing was great as is the dive club attached to the hotel. Cant wait to return next year for some winter sunshine . I will never go to Sharm el Sheik again. it’s Dahab all the way for us 🤩

Amazing place. They hosted us perfectly. Thanks to all the staff and to everyone in Penguin Village. The proximity with the sea, the calm of the room, the terrace. Loved everything about this place ! And thanks to the team at the restaurant and to Muhhammed making us feel like it's home.

The staff at reception were amazing. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. We booked room only, but were given a complimentary Egyptian or Continental breakfast each morning. Kettle, tea and coffee in the room. Beds were comfortable. I have back problems and the bed actually made it feel a bit better, after a night's sleep. The location was good. A few hundred metres to lots of shops and restaurants.

Not much really. The rooms are very basic, but cleaned regularly with clean towels provided.

Reception 24 hours and friendly. also they can recommend you the tours without hustling. Breakfast towards to the sea was amazing and also the food was decent!

The staff is super friendly and helpful. Quick response even when my flight got canceled and I asked to delay my airport pick up, they were really calm and helped me relax in that stressful moment.

The fridge in the room was super noisy (I'm a light sleeper) so I just unplugged it, they said they would change it, but I wasn't using it so didn't bother me.

Very friendly staff who went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. The hotel is south of the main tourist area but shops and restaurants are close by.

The nearby hotel played music late at night. Take earplugs!

We loved the room with a sea view. The staff was amazing, very friendly, and going above and beyond to fulfil our needs. They arranged taxis and a tour at very reasonable prices. We were treated exceptionally well and always with a big smile. We left with a feeling of gratitude towards the hotel staff. The location was good, and we were able to walk everywhere within the Dahab town. Breakfast was included.

The view to the ocean is very relaxing. The staff is very committed to make the most of your stay, the will help you deal with transport, restaurant services and general suggestions.

Some parts of the bathroom are not very clean, like the fan or the air conditioner. The doors of the furniture need maintenance, as well as some of the bed lights.

The staff were very helpful and always able to hlep with any issues. Room was spacious with lovely sea view and cleaned every morning. Access to beach was right on the doorstep and shops and restaurants all convenient as well. Diving facilities also very good with well trained and knowledgeable staff and modern equipment to rent. Overall would recommend and look fowrad to staying here again.

The staff was great overall - very caring and helpful! They helped us arrange daily excursions with no issue. In addition, they upgraded us with breakfast for free and gave us a very big room. Finally, the room had all the necessary utilities, including a kettle, coffee, tea, and AC! I would definitely return here on future visits.

The hotel could definitely use some sprucing up and the breakfast staff were usually rude (except Muhammad). Also, someone needs to seriously wipe the tables at the restaurant. Wow.

Comfortable stay in Dahab. Hotel is in a quieter section of Dahab, a 10- 15min walk to the main swimming area at Lighthouse reef. There are many restaurants along the way. The hotel included a free continental or Egyptian breakfast, this was delicious. We also ate lunch at the hotel's restaurant once and the food was great. Balcony had a beautiful view of the Red Sea. Daily cleaning service was handy. Hotel arranged pickup and drop-off from Sharm el Sheik for a reasonable price. Free water was available daily. There are a few bicycle rental shops nearby which we also found handy. The dive shop at the hotel needs special mention, they are fantastic and the instructors are highly skilled and professional, we are both PADI AOW divers are were really happy to dive with Penguin divers, if you are interested in diving in Dahab this is a good place to stay.

Rooms are quite basic and a little dated. Shower was small without any partitions that leads to very wet floor but this seems kinda standard in the area.

perfect location , easy and picturesque walk into town but just far enough away to avoid the noise . stunning views from the very spacious balcony, friendly and helpful staff at reception

service at breakfast was very slow and difficult to get staffs attention to order which is frustrating when on a timetable with diving !

Good location, next to the beach and restaurants. The staff was awesome, a lot of good tips about the places around.

The room is small.

The room, although small, has a fabulous view of the sea and it was clean. All the staff and tour prices are excellent. you can trust the employees who are honest and always available to help. the wi-fi is fast and the breakfast is good.

I think the price is a little high for what you get... 57€ per night for egypt is a considerable amount.

Great hotel , the room with balcony was huge , the place is 5 min from the market and 8 minutes from the center ,great sea view public patio , very friendly staff, clean rooms ,basic breakfast, can rent a bycicle and go to dahab laguna 10 minutes to the south

beyond the pleasant accommodation and easy positioning of the hotel, what I liked most was the attitude of the staff, ready at any time to help you with anything you need; I would like to thank Abdo who made us have a pleasant holiday, the two young people from the restaurant Mostafa and Mahmoud who were the salt and pepper of the meals at the hotel and last but not least the chef who he showed interest in our opinions about food; I will definitely come back.

Lovely balcony with a view to the sea, and super helpful staff. You could have (an ok-ish) breakfast in front of the sea as well. So that was nice!

Room and bathroom size/cleanliness… it was OK not what we expected. We found it expensive for what you get.
