The location of the Hotel Amancay is priceless, and the room i stayed in (the hotel suite) is 10+ points. Amazing views, and the hot tub overseeing the mountains, just that is more than enough to enjoy your stay.
The hotel food is not great. Breakfast are ok, but when ordered lunch, it was really dry spaghettis with a not so good meat sauce. Do not recommend the hotel restaurant at all.

It sits in a beautiful place, along circuito chico. The room is spacious and the breakfast is fine, with a lovely view. Seems like it would be great in the summer with a big pool outside
The hotel is old, we had mold in our room. We got no information from the reception (breakfast, restaurant, etc), we had to ask later. But what bothered me the most was that the windows in the rooms were so high we needed to stand to see the view. I know that's how it is, but it's a crime with a view like that. There are other rooms with a bigger window tho

The Hotel had an incredible view, and the building is really pretty. The room we stayed was the simplest, yet really neat and comfortable.
The downsides were the location, despite being a beautiful place, it really is far away for people who'd like to visit downtown. And the hotel could update and upgrade its furnitures.

The view from the room was beautiful. The hotel is located next to some amazing viewpoints. Breakfast was also really good.
The staff at the reception was not really nice and did not speak English. In addition they changed us a bit more although the order in booking said it includes all taxes, and when asking for an explanation they pointed at a small sign written only in Spanish.
The room itself is old.
