Angel Hotel

Lagos is many wonderful things, but let's be fair, peace and tranquillity aren't always the first words that spring to mind when describing this extraordinary city! Which is perhaps why spending a wonderfully tranquil night at the Angel Hotel felt rather appropriate. Sometimes you don't need grand adventures, endless entertainment or a packed itinerary. You simply want somewhere to escape the bustle, switch off for a while and enjoy a little peace. And that is exactly what I found here. There is something rather lovely about discovering a quiet little retreat in a city that rarely seems to stop moving. As a Scotsman, I'm not entirely sure I've earned my angel wings just yet, but for one peaceful night in Lagos, I certainly felt as though I'd found a little slice of heaven. Just one night. A welcome escape from the bustle of Lagos. And a hotel with a name that, on this occasion, felt wonderfully appropriate.

The lighting the rooms really isn't bright enough. Thats my only issue.

Location was great. The air conditioning was perfect.

Shower needs plumbing as the water does not escape as fast.

The location was ok.

Ok

The staff were helpful

The corridor smells cigarettes. The intercom isn't working. Had to call their online numbers to get their attention
