Beim Betreten der Villa Rene werden Sie von einem wunderschön gepflegten Garten begrüßt, der sich eng um einen privaten blauen Pool legt. Am seichten Kopf des Wassers sitzt ein hübscher Ballen. Es gibt ein schönes Doppelzimmer im Erdgeschoss, während wir im ersten Stock zwei attraktive Gästezimmer haben; ein schönes Queen-Size-Schlafzimmer und ein gemütliches kleines Zweibettzimmer mit eigenem schattigen Balkon. Das Hauptschlafzimmer beherrscht die gesamte 2. Etage. Das Doppelzimmer im Erdgeschoss kann zu einem Zweibettzimmer und das Doppelzimmer im 1. Stock zu einem Doppelzimmer umgebaut werden. Wir können die Betten problemlos nach Ihren Wünschen konfigurieren.
Wir sind sehr gut gelegen, um schnell den New Canggu Club zu besuchen, der viele zusätzliche Aktivitäten für Jung und Alt bietet. We had an awesome experience at Villa Rene. Well located near the beach (a few minutes by foot), lots of local shops and restaurants (you must try Crab Bar, Watercress & Hog Wild). As for the accommodation itself you can be rest assured it has everything you need. First of all air conditioning...you will need that, a pool (now that's special), great areas to laze around, televisions in lounge and bedrooms, chilled water dispenser, a stocked refrigerator and the list goes on.....The best prize of all are your wonderful hosts Wayan & Putu. They will meet your every need whilst staying at the villa. Not only do you get a cooked breakfast each morning they will also cook lunch or dinner for you upon request. If you have any need from laundry, food requirements, child care, house keeping, tour info or even to be chauffeured and toured around Bali they will look after you. The Villa is ideal for one or two families. We would go back in a heartbeat...Thankyou Wayan & Putu for a memorable holiday.

The family, adult children and their partners, plus Mum, all loved Bali. Our trip was made extra special because of the villa, and most particularly the villa staff. The villa, the gardens and pool were great, secluded but well located for beaches and shopping. Most particularly we all agreed that Wayan, Putu and Mimi were beyond helpful and charming. Great cooks too!

A wonderful holiday for Bali first timers.
The family, adult children and their partners, plus Mum, all loved Bali. Our trip was made extra special because of the villa, and most particularly the villa staff. The villa, the gardens and pool were great, secluded but well located for beaches and shopping. Most particularly we all agreed that Wayan, Putu and Mimi were beyond helpful and charming. Great cooks too!

My family and I (Mum, Dad, two grown up children + spouse + grandson) had a wonderful stay at Villa Rene over the New Year holiday. The villa is really homely and clean at the same time as having a luxurious feel to it - especially the outside area with the pool and bale.
Wayan, Putu and Mimi looked after us really well, pretty much not letting us lift a finger! It was so lovely to be brought coffee while lying on a sunbed! They were also really good with our 1 year old boy, helping to look after him, running around after him and generally pampering him!
We had friends staying in a nearby villa and had a party at the villa for New Year, not only did Wayan and the ladies prepare a feast for us, they didn't mind that we all jumped in the pool at midnight and carried on partying till 4am - they even brought out extra towels!
Felt very sad to leave Villa Rene at the end of our time as it had started to feel like home and we'd had such a lovely, relaxing time.
The only downside I would say is that you do need to get taxis everywhere, except perhaps for Belig Beach which is a 15 min walk, but not very nice - although we did like Mozaic beach club. I was nervous about taking our son in taxis without a car seat so we did spend a lot of time just chilling out in the villa - so it's a good thing we loved it!

We had a really relaxing stay at Villa Rene, with 4 bedrooms it easily accommodated my brother + girlf on the ground level, me, my husband and 2 girls on 2nd floor and my parents in the master suite on the top level. This was a perfect layout to give everyone their own space. Wayan and Putu were lovely hosts, very obliging and kind, everything was always really clean and towels always appeared out of nowhere when we were swimming and relaxing around the pool. The breakfast every morning was varied and tasty and the fruit so fresh. The villa itself could probably use a bit of maintenance, loose floorboards, blocked showerheads, our ensuite toilet didn't flush well, a lick of paint here and there..... but this didn't detract too much from the rest of the amenities. Its well-located for restaurants and shops, (5 min walk) there were some great eateries (Watercress - fine dining presentation, Naughty Nuris - BBQ Ribs in a sociable setting, Mozaic beach club - high-end with a view of the beach) and some very reasonably-priced Warungs with classic Indonesian dishes mixed with European. There were also some nice boutiques (Body & Soul, Beka, Mr & Mrs Wardrobe) for a spot of dress shopping and I had a really relaxing body scrub & massage at Bening Spa. The main shopping street of Seminyak (around Seminyak Square) where our other relatives were staying was only a short cab ride away (approx 35,000rph). We did attempt to walk to 'town' along the beach one day, but turned back to the shady sanctuary of the Villa after 15 minutes! You really appreciate the bubble of tranquility that is Villa Rene after melting in the baking sun of the rest of Bali! And then you wisely call for a cab every time you want to go out (I recommend Bluebird group - just call 701111 from the villa phone). And you should venture out because there are lots of great things to explore in Bali - Waterbom, Elephant Safari Lodge, Monkey Santuary, Tanah Lot, and for a little bit of luxury closer to the Villa, theres the Canggu Club about 10mins away. My whole family loved this Bali holiday so I'm sure we'd all be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful few days at Villa Rene. Its 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, including a palatial master bedroom on the top floor, easily accommodated our family group of 3 couples, one single adult and 2 preschool children. The decor was modern and stylish, lounge seating and beds were very comfortable. There was lots of space for the children to play, and they were thrilled with the cupboard full of toys and children's books, once we realised their existence.
The property was clean and largely well-maintained (we did have a minor plumbing problem in one bathroom which was promptly dealt with, and struggled with a reluctant sliding wardrobe door). The staff were absolutely wonderful.
We took "pool fence" to mean a steel fence surrounding the pool; since this was not the case, we had to be extremely vigilant with the 2 little boys, and keep all the external doors closed. We did enjoy the pool however.
We were quite close to a nice supermarket, and restaurants such as Naughty Nuri's (barbecued ribs, satay etc). Potato Head Club, right on the beach, was also close, with a fantastic pool and delicious food. Brasco factory outlet was not too far away, where we had a bit of a shopping spree.
We enjoyed a day trip to Ubud and to Lake Bratan, up in the mountains.
We certainly would recommend the property to friends.

Our stay at Villa Rene was simply amazing and we plan to return. Located near the beach at the end of Batu Balig the villa is close to a wide variety of restaurants from top end to local. The staff on site are knowledgeable, gracious and never intrusive. The villa is very clean, quiet and comfortable. My family spent quite a bit of time in the pool, and we have a pool at home. Internet wifi was sometimes intermittent but I believe this is being upgraded. Perfect for families or couples, highly recommended. You won't be disappointed.

Our positive experience at Villa Rene was equally due to friendly and efficient service of the staff (Wayan, Made and Putu) and the relaxing ambiance of the villa.Sitting around the pool, in-house massages, the smell of frangiapanni trees and the babbling of the fountains all led to a sense or peace and serenity.
The house was very nice. My only complaint would be that the location was not as close to the beach as I had anticipated. The roads leading into town or to the beach have no sidewalks and traffic is crazy with taxis and motorcycles.
That being said, the beach is a short ten minute walk and provides access for great sunsets and a wide range of options for having a drink or meal.
We had two 3 year olds and they loved the place, particularly the goldfish and turtle pond. The staff went out of their way to please and the daily breakfasts were fantastic. Variety of fresh fruit each morning along with pancakes, eggs, toast, coffee, etc.

Wayan was able to secure a driver for us (neighbor named Made) who had a nice vehicle and was also quite personable.

Fantastic week in Bali
Our positive experience at Villa Rene was equally due to friendly and efficient service of the staff (Wayan, Made and Putu) and the relaxing ambiance of the villa.Sitting around the pool, in-house massages, the smell of frangiapanni trees and the babbling of the fountains all led to a sense or peace and serenity.
The house was very nice. My only complaint would be that the location was not as close to the beach as I had anticipated. The roads leading into town or to the beach have no sidewalks and traffic is crazy with taxis and motorcycles.
That being said, the beach is a short ten minute walk and provides access for great sunsets and a wide range of options for having a drink or meal.
We had two 3 year olds and they loved the place, particularly the goldfish and turtle pond. The staff went out of their way to please and the daily breakfasts were fantastic. Variety of fresh fruit each morning along with pancakes, eggs, toast, coffee, etc.
