We loved our stay at the Kensington apartment! It was so safe and in a beautiful historic location with easy access to all forms of transportation. We loved walking in the near-by gardens around Kensington Palace, There was a fantastic coffee shop with incredible baked goods and egg dishes around the corner from our place, as well as some restaurants.The unit was lovely, clean, and well-maintained, and the owner was very accommodating to our needs, and she provided extra touches to make our vacation even more special. The only issue, which is clear in the booking info, is that there is a small circular staircase to access the apartment and courtyard. We are retired and did not have any trouble getting luggage down, but this is the only issue that you might need to consider if you struggle with stairs, etc. From this apartment, you have easy access to all of the city with the trains and buses. The Hop-on, Hop -off buses are a great option for new visitors, but you have to understand where to catch the stop since they are not the same as city buses. (Several points of access near this stay.)Highly recommended!!!

Great location with easy access to public transportation. We always felt safe, even when walking the streets after dark. Close to several dining and shopping options. I would say the kitchen is smaller than it looks in the pictures, but the flat does meet the description by the host. Bed was comfortable, everything seemed very clean, it is a quiet area with easy access to Paddington station when coming from LHR.

On the down side, the flat is a bit small and is below ground. Everything else was lovely. Ann was very helpful. The place was clean & well-stocked and in a great location.

I suppose that's the way I should describe this place if I ever want it to have any future availability. When people find out what a wonderful flat it truly is, none of us will be able to book a stay there!But the truth is, it's actually a wonderful little hidden gem, as anyone who's stayed there knows. The hosts are lovely, kind people who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The flat is perfectly cozy for two, and the neighborhood has loads of lovely shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes. And it's just moments away from Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park and TWO Tube stations! What more is there to say? Book at stay here. I promise you won't regret it.
