A great place in a nice quiet area of the town. The staff were super friendly and helpful too.

The owner made our stay really comfortable. A very nice lady, speaks English. The place got its own parking. A big advantage when you are with the luggage and kids. Walkable distance to restaurants and attractions. Really quite at night (THE most important for me).

Unfortunately no breakfast at the place, but plenty of places around.

The location was excellent. Easy to access and close to great sight seeing locations. The owner is kind and very helpful. the rooms itself are cozy and homey and it was definitely one of the most comfortable stays I have had because it felt like home.

The best part about this hotel was how quiet it was. It is up on a little hill/mountain, away from the Old Town just enough to get that peace and quiet at any time during the day but close enough that its just a short walk down the hill to get to the main section of restaurants. The staff was amazing, so friendly and helpful and really made us feel like we were at home. The rooms were unique, keeping traditional Tibetan home elements, making you feel warm and cozy. Loved the bathtub and the skylight windows. 100% would stay here again and would love to visit Shangri-La in the winter when the mountains are covered in snow!

The place has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and authentic design. Very clean. The staff there was extremely helpful and friendly, they're always glad to recommend me things nearby. Also the territory is a bit away from the old town, not too far though, but it's more quiet there due to this fact. There is an option of renting a bike and going for a ride outside the city. Vivian showed me some of the best routes on the map. Will definitely choose this place again once I'm back to Shangri-La.

Absolutely everything from the location, 2 minutes to the beautiful Old Town of Shangri-la, to the most hospitable host I've ever met, Vivian, who speaks perfect English. Seriously you can't go wrong with this place. The attention to detail was fantastic and the price was absolute value for money. Honestly stop looking and just book, you won't be disappointed!

The beds for a European are a little hard but that's to be expected

The property is very well located in a quiet place just some meters away to the main square. It is a very cozy and authentic accommodation, ideal to relax. Our host Vivian, was top. She was incredibly helpful and thanks to her kind support and guidance we had an unforgettable stay in the area.
