Beautifully decorated and furnished property. The lounge was very cosy, and the beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of hot water, and the bathroom was small, but nicely done. There was a good view of the birds at the bird-table in the garden from the kitchen window, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The street outside was quiet, and, although you could hear the church clock chiming, it stopped overnight, giving us a peaceful night's sleep. It was very convenient for the centre of Alnwick - restaurants and shops were only a few minutes walk away, and it was less than 10 minutes walk to the castle.

The main bedroom was a bit small and the door hit the bottom of the bed when opened.

One of the best self catering properties we have ever stayed in. Warm, comfortable , roomy cottage ideal for two. Very generous welcome pack. Excellent hosts.

The property was so cosy, well-equipped and in a great location. The owners were very friendly and thoughtful. We stayed over Christmas and they had decorated the house with fairy lights and a Christmas tree!

Location of the property and cleanliness were excellent. It was a shame we had to visit during a COVID year as many of the household finishing touches had had to be removed for safety reasons.
