We have stayed at the Lae Nani numerous times over 36 years and it remains our favourite place to stay while in Kauai. The grounds and plantings are spectacular - like being in a botanical garden - The beach, the pool, the sacred hieau and the care and attention paid to the property by attentive and very pleasant staff is unequaled in Kapa'a. Tucked away yet within walking distance to shops, restaurants and along with its central location on the island makes it not only special but very convenient for exploring the rest of the island. We always feel completely at home at the Lae Nani.

Sadly, in spite of its beautiful location we found 326 very tired and in desperate need of a refresh. I don't like to write negative reviews so I'll be specific because these are issues that can be fixed. All the throw cushions on the couches were very dirty as were the chair cushions around the table. The furniture is old and worn but serviceable. Little details like providing a broom but no dustpan made it difficult to keep the place sand-free. Kitchen plates and utensils were adequate but a pair of kitchen scissors would have come in handy numerous times. We had to purchase dishwashing soap and TP which I suppose is fair enough but not something we've had to do when staying in other units previously. All the tables had glass tops and could have been cleaner - adding some basics like glass cleaner would have been helpful. I wouldn't discount 326 as a place to stay - the views from the unit are stunning (see photo) - just don't expect 5-star.

Condo complex was great. The unit not so much… The condominium complex is very well maintained and in a great location. Unfortunately, the unit (326) we rented left a lot to be desired. The unit was in desperate need of an update and/or a thorough cleaning. For example, the living and dining room carpets were soiled and dirty, the overhead fan blades were grimy, the chaise lounge on the lanai was broken and unusable, the refrigerator door enamel was chipped and rusted, one of the closet doors did not slide properly, one of the dining room chair cushions was worn/torn, and the bath linens, although clean, were stained. Kitchen basics such as dish towels were nowhere to be found. This condo was a poor value. I would recommend the condominium complex but not this unit.

Location is great

Poor info on codes for gate and pool. Was expecting a few more supplies like dishwasher soap, paper towels, toilet paper. The vents and screens need vleaning .

Location! The condo is right on the ocean with a beautiful view! You can enjoy both pool and beach. The grounds are immaculate. You can walk to restaurants and shopping. Provided beach chairs, cooler and umbrella

In order to upgrade to excellent...The master bedroom bed mattress is in need of replacement the cheap bed topper "tacos" so not a comfortable sleeping arrangement. The bed does not meet the standards of this nice condo. Also pool code should be included in check in info and beach chairs could be updated to lighter chairs (like Tommy Bahamas ) Balcony closet needs to be cleaned and sorted. A welcome letter would be nice with details of complex and area.
