Location was excellent
Electricity went out on the first day, they contacted us hours later. No handtowels, uncomfortable bed and pillows

Location - close to the River. Quiet as the bedroom was at the back of the property. Accommodation was spacious for 2. Good view of the River and close to Luis 1 Bridge. Climb to the top path and it's worth the view.
Seals around the shower door missing. No cooking knives or scissors in the kitchen. It wasn't clearly explained that one remote control for the AC controlled both living area and the bedroom. There was another but we thought that was for the lounge and it wouldn't work. 120 steps up from the river, plus the 2 flights to the 2nd floor not for the unfit. Taxi can only drop you off at the river level.

Beautiful view.
Although I knew there was no parking, I was not informed about the 134-step climb to reach this reception-less apartment. As a result, I had to leave my luggage in the car a mile away. Additionally, I was uncomfortable being required to send a copy of my passport over an insecure messaging platform (WhatsApp). The apartment also smelled overwhelmingly of chlorine used for cleaning and getting it ready. Overall, the property fell far short of basic expectations.

"Die Lage zwischen den beiden Ebenen der Dom Luis Brücke ist super.
Ausstattung der Wohnung perfekt und gemütlich.
Das Sitzplätzchen mit Sicht auf den Douro haben wir sehr genossen."
