Alam Indah Ubud

What an absolutely wonderful place! Located in a beautiful, quiet pocket of Ubud, right next to the Monkey Forest, this hotel offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Despite its peaceful setting, everything you could wish for is within easy reach – amazing cafés, local restaurants, Ayurvedic wellness centres, yoga studios and so much more. The surrounding street is wonderfully quiet, making the location truly special. The hotel itself is simply magical. Surrounded by lush tropical greenery, the traditional Balinese-style villas are full of authentic charm and character. The entire atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, relaxing and rejuvenating. It genuinely feels like stepping into another world, where you can slow down, disconnect and simply enjoy being in the moment. The staff are absolutely lovely – warm, welcoming and attentive. The food is excellent quality, and considering how affordable everything is, the value for money is exceptional. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you’re looking to escape busy city life, reconnect with yourself and restore your energy in a truly beautiful and authentic Balinese setting, this is the perfect place to stay. I would absolutely love to return!

Wir kannten das Alam Indah bereits: Sehr freundliches Personal, schönes Zimmer (Hibioscus)mit grosszügigem Bad, sehr feines Frühstück, perfekter Shuttle Service, gute Lage weg vom Trubel (dank shuttle optimal), kleiner, aber sehr angenehmer Pool, Partnerrestaurant Cafe Wayan in Ubud ursprünglich und sehr gut.

Ubud selber...viel zu überlaufen, zuviel Verkehr, nur shopping und Restauration (die aber gut), katastophale Neuorganisation des Monkey Forest (Entmystifizierung), auch Tänze in Puri etwas touristisch... Da kann aber das reizende Hotel nichts dafür!

The service from the staff was exceptional. All of them seemed sop friendly.

Perhaps the inaccessability to the main areas and centre of Ubud.
