A beautiful spot overlooking the valley, comfortable rooms with all the necessary amenities.

Great space in a lovely location with superb view and ample space for 6 people to socialise and dine. Kitchen very well equipped. It feels like you’re staying in somebody’s lived-in home. The decor is rather drab and tired, but it is perfectly functional. Only a short walk to the common which is pleasant.

The property is in a great position with stunning views from the kitchen. It was within walking distance of Nailsworth, though it was a steep up hill walk back. There is a steep slope and quite a few steps to access the property so not great if there are any mobility issues. The kitchen was great; cleanish, modern and had pretty much everything we needed and the central heating great once i had worked out how to use the thermostat.Apart from the kitchen the property is very tired and dated with a threadbare sofa and carpets and old fashioned furniture. The beds, bedding and towels had also seen better days. The wallpaper in the smaller twin bedroom is falling off the wall. The bathrooms were not particularly clean with mildew around the shower tray and staining in the toilet bowl. The double glazing on the patio doors was also blown, obscuring what would be a lovely view. On the whole the place felt like it needed a good clean to deal with grubby corners, edges and spiders webs.To add insult to the feel of the place we hadn't realised when booking the instructions expected us to hoover and mop on our last morning before we left. The hoover was left in the middle of the living room when we arrived. I assume to make sure we didn't forget.

Amazing view. Very spacious. Local towns are super friendly. Farmers market is a must. Bed mattresses are pretty worn out.
