House is charming and especially convenient for the horse show. My dogs loved the large enclosed yard (although note there are a couple of gaps in the fence where a small dog could escape--if you bring a small dog be mindful of that).Property is nicely set back from the road so it feels private and serene. House was very well stocked with kitchen supplies and even some toiletries. Host always answered texts promptly. Checkout tasks were highly reasonable and within expectations.Something to consider based on your travel group--in the main house the king bedroom is entered through the queen bedroom, and the bathroom is outside of that. So if you are in the king bedroom you will have to walk through the other bedroom to use the bathroom. Wasn't a problem for us as we didn't use all bedrooms, but may not be ideal for larger parties.Overall I do recommend this property, it's a lush and quiet gem convenient to everything!

The location here was great! Perfect for dogs as it’s fully fenced in and has quite a large yard.

We stayed for three nights Christmas week. The cottage is cozy and close to town. We really enjoyed our stay and happy to have our pup along too!

We loved our stay at the Lake Placid Go Cottage! We rented both the 2BR and 1 BR studio for the Horse Show and it couldnt have worked out better! The cottage is in a prime location, so close to the horse show and close to downtown. The cottage was impeccably decorated, fully updated and the beds were super comfy! Sharon, the cottage manager, was very friendly, professional and responsive. The cottage was spacious and we loved that it had a great, open kitchen with everything we needed! The washer and dryer were a big help too, as we had a lot of horse show clothes to wash! I would highly recommend this property and we will surely be back ourselves! Thank you again for a wonderful stay! T. Hayes and family
