I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful house, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The house itself was spacious, comfortable, and exquisitely designed. The highlight, undoubtedly, was the incredible pool area. It provided the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the area.
What truly stood out to me was the impeccable cleanliness of the entire property. The attention to detail in maintaining such a high standard of cleanliness did not go unnoticed and added greatly to the overall comfort of our stay.
The grill area was an absolute delight and played a central role in creating memorable evenings. We enjoyed many delicious meals while soaking in the tranquil surroundings.
I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Tess, who was an absolute gem throughout our stay. Her responsiveness and willingness to assist with any queries or concerns were truly commendable. Her friendly demeanor made us feel welcome and taken care of, enhancing our overall experience.
In conclusion, I can wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone seeking a fantastic getaway. The combination of a stunning house, exceptional amenities, and top-notch hospitality made for an unforgettable stay.
We will definitely come back.

We loved everything about this property- the location, cleanliness, how spacious and beautiful it was, the swimming pool and sauna. It had absolutely everything we needed and check in process with Tess was smooth. We wish we could stay longer than 2 weeks and hope to return again soon.

We, a family of five, rented the villa for a week and enjoyed the premises and the location close to Trevignano, an idyllic and genuine Italian town by lake Bracciano. The swimming pool was a delight and an excellent way of enjoying the summer. Airconditioning indoors made sure that we were well rested after the nights. The caretaker, Tess, was easy-going and explained all we needed to know, and expediently reached out to us when we were unsure about anything. In addition, we were so fortunate to meet the owner Arianna, a very pleasant lady. If you plan to rent the house a rental car is recommended as the location is on a relatively steep hill, and it makes getting around to visit the neighbouring cities easier. Our stay was all we expected and more. If you wish for a quiet holiday in the Italian countryside, with close access to quite many excellent dining possibilities, this is it :-) The house and the follow up get a full score from all of us.

Fabulous stay in Trevignano Romano
We spent wonderful 9 days in the villa with our family (4 adults and 2 children) on June/July 2022. This 3-bedrooms villa is especially suits for families. A car is necessary.
The house and garden are completely private. The brand new pool was a good size and an excellent cooler in the hot summer. The pool area is equipped with everything you need: chairs, tables, parasols.
Remarkable are the beautiful views of Lake Bracciano and the surrounding area. We spent a lot of time in the beautiful towns around the lake: Trevignano Romano, Bracciano, Anguillara Sabazia, Sutria. Traveling to Rome is also convenient by train from Bracciano or Anguillera station.
Our host Tess was very nice, helpful and trustworthy. Thank you!

House with view to the lake
We had a good time in Bracciano. Tess helped us a lot with information (there is also a book with everything you need to know, restaurants, points to see, etc), she was always available and answered within minutes. The location is nice, close to the village, shops and restaurants but you need the car for almost everything, specially if it's hot. There are some nearby beaches, private and open. The house is big enough for a family like ours ( 5 Person) and quite comfortable, I wouldn't call it luxurious. The kitchen corner is like described in the ad, small but functional. We missed the dishwasher. I found a bit odd that we had to pay for electricity and gas, so careful with the air conditioning. We didn't use it as we were out during the day and we opened all the windows at night to cool down. There should be a minimum use of electricity& gas included in the price and the rest extra. The biggest problem was the open air cinema, it was extremely loud making it difficult to sleep, and it happened almost everyday. It started at ca 8.15 pm and sometimes at 12.00 pm was still on. Otherwise we loved having breakfast and dinner at the terrace ( with lots of mosquito spray) and we enjoyed one day the jacuzzi, we had a lot of fun.

Amazing Lake View
Great place with amazing lake views. We spent almost 30 days and would like to come back some day.

This really is a lovely, well designed home and much bigger in reality than we expected from the images on the site – we are a family of six and we had plenty of space to relax. The views from either of the two patios that face the lake are spectacular and the third covered seating area in the back garden is a quiet shady sanctuary. Having two bathrooms next to each other seemed a little odd but with six people staying it worked well. By today's standards the kitchen area is a bit snug but its relatively new and the clean style fits in well with the impressively large living room. The fridge is a little modest for a large family but in my experience having a larger one just means there’s more to throw away at the end of a stay. The downstairs bedrooms are generous and tastefully furnished – the ceiling/roof of the upstairs bedroom does slope down to one side so getting up in the dark without crouching is not advised. The House Manager Tess was excellent – answering our questions about the area and getting things fixed quickly when needed.
The town centre of Trevignano Romano is traditional and unspoilt with lovely lakeside restaurants. It wasn’t busy when we stayed in late June – although it gets more lively with events taking place on the weekends in peak season. The train station in Bracciano was 20 minutes drive away with a direct line to Rome. The coast is also pretty close too, the beach at Santa Severa took a little over an hour to reach by car. There’s a couple of medium sized supermarkets in the town also.
We really enjoyed our stay at the villa and I‘d like to give it top marks but I’m offering an objective view and I have to mention a few things – not least the hill.
As stated in a previous review, the house is near the top of a hill – by car it's a short twisting climb in first gear. We walked up and down it a few times and it really wasn’t as bad as expected but I wouldn’t like to do it with two heavy bags in the midday heat so driving to the shops is essential. Its quiet and peaceful up there and there’s often a gentle breeze blowing – It all depends how you feel about hills.
At the time we stayed the temperature was in the mid 30°c every day and use of the air-conditioning was essential at night but be warned – its expensive so use it sparingly.
Theres a local recycling scheme that seems a bit crazy but you soon get used to it.
Nowhere is ever going to be perfect but for what we wanted, this villa comes pretty close.

Typisch italienisch

Can't fault the views, they are stunning all day and night. They come at a cost....the hill is a first gear climb all the way up in a car which gives you some idea of just how steep it is and being an Italian road it is not in great condition. The walk into the town centre is only 10 minutes but the beach area is another 10 minutes walk. In the summer that makes it too far to walk to in my mind and that with fit older kids. Walking back at night is ok but you need 30 minutes to cool down when you get back.
The villa itself is functional but not luxurious. The air con is effective but not cheap( its on a meter so make sure you turn it off during the day). The finish isn't bad, there are a few dodgey looking electrical sockets including one in the shower room. The plugs are all a strange 3 pins in a vertical line which do not take euro plug adapters. There is only one in the whole property that takes a standard euro convertor plug which makes life a real pain with modern phones/ipads etc that need regular charging. The fridge is small with a small freezer section which makes keeping drinks cool a daily chore and if you are cooking at the villa its capacity is soon reached. The lower floor is in the process of being converted and contains the sheets for the next occupants hanging across the room which I found a little odd. The recycling system requires daily putting out and collecting of bins which isn't something I want to think about when on holiday.
The beds were very comfortable and Tess was very helpful on arrival/departure. there are some very nice lakeside restaurants in the town. We particulary liked the Rustica and The Ballon. Didn't rate the La Casina Bianca but it was packed with locals so what do I know.
Getting to Rome was easy, short lakeside drive to Angulara, track down the train station that is nicely hidden and not signposted...ticket machine takes its time so allow time and don't forget to stamp your ticket before getting on the train or get your tickets on line with the trainline-eu app. About 8 euros for 4 of us to the stops near the Vatican where you can pick up a connecting metro service for the rest of Rome. All air conditioned and clean on the inside....Lots of security presence in Rome, Army and Police. All the external drinks vendors have been removed from outside the Colleseum so make sure you have plenty of supplies before your join the queues.

Special thanks go to our host Tess, who warmly welcomed us in this holiday home, showed us around and was available for questions at any time. It was a true pleasure meeting you, and we hope to see you again soon!

Prachtige ligging!

Fantastic house with a stunning view over Lago di Bracciano
We had a wonderful week in this tastefully designed villa; three adults and three teenagers. A nice garden with adorable cats visiting every evening. Additional stars to Tess, our service minded local contact.

Perfect place for families
We (4 adults and 1 toddler) spend a wondeful time in the beautyful country house Regina del Lago in Trevignano Romano. The location is perfect and so beautiful: you have a splendid seaview from every place in the big garden and from nearly every room in the house. The house is lovingly furnished in every detail and the kitchen is full equipped. The best place is the roofed lounge in the garden - very "gemütlich" as we say in Germany. The garden is enclosed so children can't run away.
The house is located on a steep hill over the lake. You can walk to the old town and the waterside promenade in about 15 minutes (down) or 20 minutes (up). In the evenings that is a good idea, but I wouldn't try the climb up at noon on hot summer days. With our little child we always took the car (5 minutes). There are nice beaches in Trevignano just a footpath from the city center.
The custodian was very friendly and helped us with every need or question. She speaks perfect both english and italian.
