13 of us at the villa. Brilliant place. Marco was excellent and gave us all the info we needed to have a great stay. Angie and David were great too, on hand to help with any questions. We will be back ! Perfect location

We had the most wonderful time at Marco’s villa in Albir. Nothing was to much trouble for Marco, and his housekeepers Dave and Angie. The villa was well stocked, with everything you could possibly need. Our grandchildren loved the pool, and the space. We will definately be returning soon.

We were 3 generations comprising 6 adults and 5 children. The villa is a fantastic place to play ans relax. Many hours were spent in and around the large heated pool during the day. Great use was made of the excellent bbq and outdoor beer fridges. The pool table and professional darts board provided many hours of relaxing entertainment. Marco and his management team are fantastic hosts and were always available for advice and guidance to maximise the enjoyment of the stay. Our holiday coincided with the start of the football season and Marco even installed his firestick so we could watch our favourite team.

Firstly I should say that the owner is very friendly, welcoming and his communication is excellent.Marco was very understanding of our situation, given UK travel restrictions during the covid-19 outbreak. This gave us the comfort we needed to commit to the booking. A decision we didn’t regret.The villa is in a great location, is peaceful and has great views of the bay. The true strong points of this villa is of course the outdoor space, entertaining area and the pool, which is very large for a villa. This made for a great family holiday, particularly as we had young children, meaning we predominantly stayed in during the evening and utilised the outdoor dining spaces and bbq. The pool is truly excellent and well looked after with regular, discrete checks throughout the stay.The accommodation itself is highly flexible, with each room having space for at least one king bed. The air conditioning in each bedroom is of good quality and the rooms are well presented. I don’t think we needed anything else for our stay.If you were a large group of 10+, I would suggest the indoor living spaces might be on the small side, but I would imagine very few groups would go to a villa like this and spend their time inside. From our perspective the villa was great and I could not ask for more and consider the villa great value for money. Marco provided some excellent recommendations in terms of local restaurants and was very forthcoming with other advice about the local area and possible day trips. I should also say that we hired Bob for one evening. Bobs prices and menu options are really excellent and the standard of his cooking was truly exceptional. He was also a very friendly and likeable character with many amusing stories. I would definitely recommend hiring Bob, particularly if you are a large group. The town of Albir was excellent and had a refreshing unspoilt atmosphere, that neighbouring Benidorm and other towns don’t share. It was very multinational with a great range of shops, restaurants and bars, all of which had sensible covid-19 precautions in place with clients who do follow the rules. My overall summary is that I would highly recommend this villa, the owner and caretaker are fantastic and welcoming, the location and outdoor space exceeded expectations. If we were to come back to this region again, we will certainly be speaking to Marco again to seek availability of this villa.Thank you for having us, most appreciated.
