The cleanliness, hot water always being on tap, the comfort, nothing being too much trouble, as well as the flexibility to assist with a very early start upon departure. The hotel may be small in size but the Lager has everything I need and look for in a hotel and this, for me, is a superb and friendly hotel.

Having twice stayed here during January 2020 this visit in 2023 was just like returning home. Everything is clean, the water is very hot, with nothing too much trouble in this family run hotel. Works for me.

My visit this time was in the autumn so it can get cold. Having previously stayed here when the temperatures were 35-38 degrees C, the rooms this time did occasionally feel cold as temperatures dropped to 4 degrees C. Otherwise I found the room and facilities very comfortable.

Francesco, the host was extremly Carina and kind. We arrived late at 10 p.m., which wasn‘t a problem. He always had a good mood, even in the morning, and gave you always the feeling that you are mit welcome. Perfect bed, everything is clean and the breakfest was great.

The staff is outstanding there! Very professional and friendly.

Francesco was a wonderful host. Well versed in tourism and wine, speaks excellent English and is quite pleasant.

Price a little higher than expected.

Breakfast was great, freshly made and served on the spot. The room was clean and comfortable and had a cute little balcony with a nice view over the surrounding village. My favorite was the courtyard in the middle of the hotel--really nice place to sit and read in the afternoon. Overall I thought the hotel had a really cozy, personal feel to it that made it very pleasant. It was quiet. Francesco was great!

Had some issues with payment, but that might have been specific to me.

This was my second stay at this family owned and run hotel over several weeks. The room was again clean with plenty of storage space. The hot water is very hot. As a location from which to self-drive and explore Chile's Central Valley the location is excellent.

Initial impressions are that this hotel is a little austere and smaller than the website suggests. However, for me this hotel was perfect.
