Hosts were extremely friendly. Garden is magnificient. Place is very well located to explore Landmannalaugar and the region. All in all, the best place we stayed in in Iceland. Would surely recommend.

Everything was great, by far the best place we stayed in Iceland. Besides the wonderful hospitality, we also enjoyed the geothermal hot tub, and the great hiking recommendations

The flat is located in a former school house amidst a neat rose garden. It is very nice, well equipped, clean and comfortable. The landlady and her husband are very kind people, very attentive. We enjoyed our stay at Asaskoli very much.

Great location! Great accommodations! Great Hosts! First off, the apartment that we rented for the 6 of us was just fantastic. Loved everything that we had access to, especially if you wanted to do any cooking at the property as opposed to going out somewhere to eat. Beautiful gardens all around the property, that the wonderful hosts have plenty of details on. The property has so much character and history which the friendly hosts were happy to share details on. The hot tub is fantastic. Nothing better than coming back from the hiking all day to relax in those warm waters. The property location was fantastic. We were able to go just a little North and explore so much of the highlands that we wanted to experience. And then we were just as easily able to head to the Southern coast and hit key spots there. The hosts gave us additional guidance on what key sites to take in. Despite all the things to see, I could see myself just planting myself down at Ásaskóli just to relax. Side note, the hosts make their own Jelly/Jams. They gave us some samples when we were leaving. I think they lasted a day as our family devoured them. ;) For larger groups like ours, coordination around one bathroom takes a little effort, but well worth it considering everything you get with this property. Will definitely return.

The apartment was perfect and the hosts were exceptionally warm and helpful. I couldn't recommend this place more. The surroundings are ripe for exploration. Stay several days if you can!

The restaurant options in town aren't very good. Bring your own food and cook at the apartment. It's wonderful.

Beautiful remote location. Convenient to Golden Circle. Perfect location from which to visit the amazing Gjáin Canyon. Clean, comfortable, perfect for family of four. Friendly hosts!
