Port Pirie Accommodation and Apartments

Cheap and cheerfull accommodation

Check in. No information on how to enter the building. Fortunately a grounds man was nearby and called re door codes for us to enter the building and to open the key safe to get the key to open our door. The latter was difficult and I busted a nail. There was nobody at the reception desk. Further, a gentleman arrived and tried to get in to the neighboring room and also had a problem. He did have a key code but it was incorrect, being only 3 digits instead of four. After multiple tries at opening the key safe w experimented and guessed the missing fourth digit.

Eco friendly comforting

Seemed convenient enough location once found via Apple Maps to the Risdon/South Risdon area. Room had all the facilities required for an overnight stay.

No basin in the shower toilet room was unusual & the basin in the kitchenette seemed too deep for me. Front screen could be difficult to open as catching somewhere & likewise the from t door lock was tight as well.

Port Pirie is kind of hard to find accommodation in when the Annual Gymnastics Comp is on, so we were thankful for the room. The grounds are nice and well maintained and the open areas look pretty good for groups of people.

It is a pretty good distance from anything like a super market, although there is an OTR down the road. Parking entrance could be more clearly labelled. The check in was a bit tricky as I did not have a mobile phone on which they could send me a pin to the door. The room, while fully functional, was pretty small for two people and the shower head just popped off during my daughter's shower - spraying water across the bathroom (It just popped back on again and she thought it was hilarious), but after the first day, we settled into the room okay LOL.
