Loved the location

Small under cover parking. Not enough for all guests

The property was very nice, better than i had excepted really. It was in an area we hadn’t been before. A bit of a view of the sea from our room. Nice sized balcony, lovely relaxing decor. Great comfortable bed with good quality linens. There was also two bench towels supplied which was an added bonus. There was a roof top Terrence and a welcoming restaurant at street level. Happy hour weekends for 3pm. We enjoyed a very good evening meal, locals dropped in for coffee and meals so you know it’s good. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

There was no toaster in the kitchen and when i asked about this was told it was because they set off the fire alarms. I felt this was a fob off, they wanted you to use the restaurant. There was no access to a laundry and we were staying 3 night. We would have been happy to pay to do laundry on site rather than travel onsite. They offer the use of free bikes which sounded lovely and a great way to access a larger area of the beautiful Margate area. After reading a page and half of what was excepted of you for safety (which is fair enough) the 8ish bikes were very rusty mostly of sized fro children and we couldn’t get a helmet to fit my husband. The bikes were very also had no carrier so you would need a back pack to hold water and swimming gear.

Bathroom fan loud when light turned on and remained on after turning off after 5 minutes

We had to keep the curtain closed because the houses across the road could see into our room. The property is a 15 minute walk to shops and restaurants
