There is really nothing negative to say about this villa - spacious, well looked after and a view to die for. Seren and her team could not have been more helpful - arriving to a full fridge including (much needed) cold beer was a great start and two loaves of fresh bread delivered to the door every morning was a lovely touch. The villa is in a great location overlooking Kalkan and the harbour - it really is a very special view. It’s just a 15 minute walk into town in the evening and we used to get a taxi back for the princely sum of £2. Eating out options in Kalkan are the best of any resort I have ever stayed in; we didn’t have a single bad meal and all the Turkish folk we encountered were very hospitable. All in all it was a fantastic holiday....we shall return!

The Kalkan Dream Villa is an older style property located in the most perfect position overlooking Kalkan bay. The Villa could do with some updating but to be honest it was perfect for our vacation and we enjoyed it enormously. It is very spacious with the primary focus being on the outside terraces which give this Villa such a distinct and special feel. We loved the location, the amazing views and especially the sunsets. The pool was large enough for our party to relax in and the smaller pool was great for those who just wanted to cool off from the sun now and then. We used the BBQ nearly every night and ate outside on the terrace for every meal as this made for an ideal setting. The kitchen was well provided for and the air con worked very well. We had to take in turn to use the shower so as not to over burden the system but this is not unusual in any house when you have 5 adults living! We soon worked out how to get to and from Kalkan itself. We only ever used a taxi service once as the walk was easy enough and allowed us to stretch our legs and do some exercise in an attempt to walk off the lovely food we were enjoying. It takes about 20 mins to walk into the village and a few more to walk back as it is up hill. After a day or so we found a good selection of shops to buy fresh fish and meat each day. There are plenty of options available. We all loved Kalkan itself. It has a really nice relaxed laid back feel and the locals are really friendly and helpful. Seren and her team were the perfect hosts. The organisation was brilliant and the communication so easy and reliable. We also loved the Villas ever so friendly cat called Kashar. She was a joy and we all fell in love with her! We have had many Villa holidays and this was among the best. We have stayed in more luxurious and well appointed villas but few have had a better location with better hosts. We will come back to Kalkan and would have no hesitation in staying here again. This was my family’s second time staying in Seren’s villa and it was wonderful yet again! The view is just stunning and my kids never wanted to leave the pool. Seren was very helpful and even stopped by with some baklava. We look forward to going again in the future!

Our holiday in this villa was just perfect we only wish we could have stayed longer. The pictures on this site does not do the views justice. We as a family had an amazing holiday and have come away from little Gem with a piece of our hearts left their. The owners greeted us during our time and even surprised us with a desert gift - it was so thoughtful. Seren answered all our questions quickly and effectively, making the whole process so easy. The villa was stunning and only 2 mins by Taxi into Kalkan Centre. We were sad to have to come home and would love to book to stay here again. We have major holiday blues! The villa and everything about it was fantastic. The entire process from renting to the last minute was fabulous and very well done. We had 2 families with a 15 month old and all the baby request was met. The Villa has the most beautiful view of the sea and the mountains. The online pictures and descriptions does not do the justice. The beach is close by and if you are a runner like I am you will enjoy the path and morning run. All the shops and stores are very close by. We were truly spoiled by this place. Owner and care takers were wonderful and made sure everything is in tip top shape. I highly recommend this beautiful villa and we will be back.

The villa is a wonderful place to stay with hosts who could not be more helpful. The four spacious bedrooms are all en suite. One is slightly separate (down another flight of steps) but has another lounge and kitchen and a sofa bed so the villa could sleep 10 There are a lot of steps to negotiate but the setting and view were worth it The pool and sitting areas are just magic Although walking into Kalkan is not advised the taxi ride is a set price of 15 Tl (about £2) and very easy We didn’t hire a car and managed with taxis all week with no problem Lots of wonderful boat trips from the harbour We recommend PINA X £20 for a full day out including a wonderful lunch, definitely not to be missed Kalkan has a large number of restaurants and all seem to have a high standard. For our final night we had Chef Kazim come to the villa and he spent all afternoon cooking a most delicious supper for us on the terrace Excellent value for money and not a lot more than eating out All in all we can thoroughly recommend Kalkan Dream Villa

This was a beautiful home that had everything you could want. The location also gave you the best view of Kalkan. And Seren was a perfect host and was very responsive to all my questions, even when I asked about medical care options. We will try and stay here again.

The pictures do not do this property justice! Our party of 9 thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay and really didn't want to leave. We utilized all three floors of the spacious and well adorned home. There was ample common area for us to spend time together as well as enough space for everyone to spend private time. The views from every location are breath taking. The outdoor space is absolutely amazing! From breakfast on the porch to swimming in the infinity pool to dinners on the pool deck to laying out in the sun all day... all with the most beautiful views in Turkey! The amenities of Kalkan city were great as well. We enjoyed all of our restaurant experiences and shopping too. The hosting and support are world class. We were greeted with a nice welcome package. Every day thereafter, we were checked on and left with a fresh loaf of bread. Thanks to the owners and staff for making our time so enjoyable.

I can honestly say that this was the best villa I have ever stayed in, combining quality accommodation and breathtaking views without sacrificing a convenient location. The Service: The villa owner was very helpful from our initial enquiry, right up until the day we left. She provided us with all the information we requested and more, as well as arranging our airport transfers. She also visited us during our stay to check if we needed anything and brought us some delicious Turkish pastries. We arrived hot and tired on a Saturday afternoon and were welcomed by the property manager who gave us a quick tour and then left us to enjoy our holiday. The welcome pack was very much appreciated and actually very comprehensive. We tended to eat light during the day then enjoy the amazing cuisine on offer in Kalkan during the evening so the food provided in the fridge more or less lasted the whole stay, complimented by the daily fresh bread delivered to the door. The Villa: The villa itself was very clean and comfortable and the air conditioning was very efficient, giving us much needed relief from the heat. The bathrooms were spotless and I loved the walk-in shower. A landline is available to make local calls which was extremely useful for calling a taxi in the evening. The kitchen is fully equipped and we never once felt that we lacked anything (including salt, pepper, sugar etc). The bedrooms were large with ensuite and the views were amazing. The only suggestion for improvement I would make here is that either blackout blinds or shutters would have been appreciated as I am quite a light sleeper and was woken up earlier than I would have liked every morning. There was also a safe set into the wall so we could lock our valuables away for peace of mind. The living area had very comfortable sofas, a TV, a computer, books and some games. The outside space: I have saved the best for last. The whole of the outside space is paved with the most beautiful marble and there are very comfortable sun loungers and mobile parasols, as well as a barbeque and dining areas. The pool, I can honestly say, is the most beautiful and cleanest I have ever witnessed at any villa I have stayed in. It was simply perfect! Watching the sun go down either from in the pool or poolside was one of the highlights for me. The smaller pool and waterfall is an added bonus and particularly useful for anyone a little afraid of water as the main pool is 1.9m deep all around. Truly a dream

A fantastic villa designed by Abdullah who we had the pleasure to meet along with his charming wife, we got the feeling that they really want you to enjoy your break and have provided the perfect villa , stunning views with a villa that has style and substance in spades! You should definitely give it a try, the best villa in Kalkan and I'm sure that you would agreement !

Stayed in the villa for two weeks from the 22nd August and had a great relaxing time. The villa has everything needed, including darts and table tennis as well as the fantastic view. Even the taxi drivers commented that this villa has the best view in Kalkan. Around 20 minutes downhill walk to town, but 15lira each way in a taxi is easier ! Kalkan has lots of very good restaurants and the quality of the food is great everywhere. The harbour offers trips all around so this is a good base for a holiday. Abdullah very helpful and easy to deal with, arranging airport transfers and the welcome pack (as well as fresh bread every day). If you want a villa where the views are amazing, where you can watch turtles from the balcony in the morning and spot mountain goats on the hills in the afternoon, with easy access to Kalkan then this villa is highly recommended.

This is our 2. time in Kalkan Dreamvilla, and our vacation just as pleasent this year as it was last year. The out-door area and the swimmingpool is our favourite, and the fact that the villa is cleaned twice a week is excelent! We absolutly love Kalkan and the hospitality and the service given by the restaurants in the area!

We have been to this villa three times before, so we knew what to expect, and we were not disappointed. The villa is spacious and well-furnished, the pools are great, and the views are breathtaking! Not only is the listing accurate, this is one of the few occasions where the reality is even better than the photographs! The villa is clean, and the charming caretaker met us on arrival, and called every day to clean the pool area and water the garden, bringing fresh bread. She cleans the whole villa twice a week, changing the sheets. There was a generous welcome pack in the fridge when we arrived. The little town of Kalkan is delightful, and has many excellent restaurants, some of which have rooftop terraces, which are pleasantly cool in the evenings. The food and service are of a very high standard, and the local people are very friendly. Favourite restaurants include Belgin's Kitchen, Gironda, The Old Trading House, Gourmet, Trio Both the town and the villa have a lot of steep steps, so it is not an ideal destination for someone who has problems with mobility, and the 20-minute walk into the town includes a stretch along a busy dual-carriageway, which we think too dangerous, but a taxi is only £4! There is a pleasant beach in the town, and a larger one at Patara, about 20 minutes drive, where there are also the ruins of a Lycian city, with amphitheatre and other buildings, currently being refurbished, well worth a visit. Also recommended is the sunken city at Kokova, and the gorge at Saklikent. The owners and the staff are welcoming and courteous, and keen to help in any way. We would have no hesitation in recommending Kalkandreamvilla, and we shall certainly be back!

Walking up the steps to the villa there is always that apprehension , Is it as described ?, will it be clean and safe? Nothing prepares you for your emotions on entering Kalkan Dream , so aptly titled . Breath-taking panoramic vistas from every viewpoint, window , patio, pool etc. A secluded paradise surrounded by beautiful fruit trees and bougainvillea on one side to the blue serene mirror of the Mediterranean on the other . The villa itself is spotless with Abdullah and his wife thinking of absolutely everything and his staff so friendly and attentive ( sorry I can`t pronounce or even attempt to spell their names ) , they were lovely . A romantic retreat or family home , this villa is for everybody. Elaine and I watched the flotilla of boats returning in the hazy sunset from their island excursions and the celebrations after the general election at the Marina as if we were executive guests from our exclusive box in the "gods" Entertained by the squirrels foraging for food and the Ibex leaping down from the rocks we lounged privately in absolute bliss and swam in the infinity pool an extension of the Med itself. On writing a review like this I am aware that this may make it difficult for us to book again , however, Elaine and I experienced the dream , so should you .

Perched on the high overlooking Kalkan and it's very pretty harbour and village is Kalkan Dream Villa. Designed and built by Abdullah Topaloglu and his family the villa brings unique comfort and charm that I have not seen in any other villa or hotel since visiting Kalkan from 2002. Natural stone,marble and wood feature in the build and it is all of the highest quality. A beautiful infinity pool and patio giving spectacular views over Kalkan to the Yali beach club and the Islands lying off the coast, you literally feel like a bird overlooking everything. Inside the villa the fittings furniture and layout is top class and you get the feeling that no expense has been spared to achieve a simply wonderful villa which provides everything you could possibly need. The Times in 2004 quoted the villa as being one of the best views in the world, believe me they do not say that without good reason it is simply stunning. If you go and stay book early as word has got out and it is known but if you make a reservation and go you will feel like you have just struck gold and will then join the many of us that go back year on year. In fact forget everything I've just said as you'll only make it harder to go next year Thanks family Topaloglu for achieving the impossible dream.

Beautiful stone villa about 15 mins walk although the walk a bit difficult a very steep hill and along a main road so we got taxis mostly as we a 5 year old and a 70 year old with us but only 15 lira £3 each way. The smell of flowers hit you on arrival. The infinity pool gorgeous our 10 year olds loved it but very deep for young children but there is a children's pool perfect for little ones. The hot tub listed had been removed. Floor to ceiling windows offer uninterrupted views of the bay. Beds very comfortable. Large wets rooms in all ensuites. 3 outdoor eating areas all kept tidy by caretakers. Would definitely come back again.

I just can't say enough about the villa.Every think was perfect,the pool,of course children pool,waterfall, next the pool sunset time bbc, amazing view and very comfortable villa None the less, it was a fabulous time had by all and we can't wait to get down there again.I will recommend this villa of heaven to everyone July
