Very very nice place to stay. Little bit out of town but with bolt or one of the bodas you’ll be fine. They have a good tour operator with fair prices. They wil help you with everything especially Nam she’s the best. She helped me so much with getting my bag back from Naribi. “Budget” hostel probably one of the best in Arusha

The location is not the best but it’s not like there is so much to do in Arusha town anyway. To the nearest pool at the lodge is around 2euros, 9 minutes by motorbike. And to center maybe 2,5 and 12 minutes.

My stay at the Mambo Arusha was really lovely, and the fellow guest were kind and great to talk to. Our beautiful host was very charming, and her mango smoothies were incredible, and her dinner and breakfasts just as good. The location is great and easy to get a Bolt into town.

Nam the host was so amazing . She made us good food and was absolutely lovely. The facilities were very clean and the rooms were cozy . There were card games and there was an opportunity to meet other travellers. I would absolutely come back here. The place is not far from Arusha town

The hostel is a little haven of peace and tranquility in the bustling city of Arusha. The landlady, Naam, is very friendly and hospitable. And a great cook to boost! She really made us feel very welcome and gave us a home away from home!

We stayed at Mambo Arusha hostel for two nights before starting our Mount Kilimanjaro trek. The hostel had everything we could need! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast both mornings and loved the dinner that was made fresh for us as well. Our host helped us organize a taxi to Arusha and answered all our questions with ease. The yard and terrace were very pleasant to hangout in and were put to good use when we were laying out our gear the day before the climb.

The hostel is beautifully decorated and located about 80m from the main road to Arusha. The hospitality is great, primarily thanks to the awesome hostess Nam, who is also responsible for the greatest breakfast we had in Tanzania! We enjoyed every day of our stay here and will definitety return if we're ever in the area.

For tall men like us the beds are bit short, but if you lay a bit diagonal it's no problem.
