DISSAPOINTED, TO SAY THE LEAST. I will provide some positive highlights but they will be few. In communicating with the owner/mgr of the property I made it clear we would be 6 people and an infant. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a worker for the property mgr/owner. She was a nice enough lady but she brings us to a run-down old room on the 7th floor(Room 7IJ) DO NOT ACCEPT THIS ROOM. We were supposed to get room LPIJ(lower Penthouse) which is equivalent to the 9th floor of a 10-floor building. This is important because the stunning views your supposed to get are much better from this room than the 7th-floor view. We were told that room LPIJ had an issue with 1 of the 2 bathrooms, thus being moved to a very old non updated room with smaller beds, spotted walls, and a leaky bum gun in 1 of the bathrooms. There was no extra linens, blankets and such for 6 people. I asked the property mgr/owner SEN if they can fix the issue in the bathroom in the original room I booked for and she said there was not a maintenance engineer to do that. We were staying for 2 nights. I asked if it would be fixed by the next day and we could at least have 1 night in the room I originally booked for the money I spent. That turned out to be a no. I'm not 100% sure but I believe they booked someone else in that room. In fairness, I did go look at the room and it was a big mess and the 1 lady who checked us in seemed to be the only 1 person who had to clean that mess the previous people left. I didn't get a sorry or let me reduce your costs, buy you dinner, or some gesture of hey I'm sorry you didn't get the room you booked. Here is a kicker. When I checked in I was asked for a deposit which I gave even though VRBO collects a fully refundable deposit which I expect to get back. I did get the cash deposit back and will again expect to see the USD charged to my card for deposit returned as well. The room I had looked nothing like the pictures and was 2 floors down so I encourage you to fully confirm the room you are getting before you stay. The area is nice and the restaurant in the lobby is great along with the spa on the premises. The room we stayed is not VRBO standard and bait and switch should not be tolerated.
