Location convenient for overnight stop on the way to Eurotunnel / le Shuttle. Our slightly late arrival for dinner was accommodated with a friendly welcome.
3 course dinner was nicely prepared with a selection of drinks available.
Breakfast was very generous.
Some confusion on arrival since visitors at the neighbouring property to the left had parked their campervan in front of the entrance gates, obscuring the property sign on the wall on the right. A "Keep Access Free" sign or similar could solve that.
The spacious and simply furnished bedroom and bathroom were perfectly comfortable but the upper shower attachment did not work due to a leaking pipe. However, this wasn't a show stopper since the hose and other shower head worked fine.

This is a wonderful rustic, rural location. Guests enjoy a large open plan communal lounge and kitchen, which are for their exclusive use. Our room was very spacious with a large double bed, separate WC and bathroom which had a bath and shower. A kettle was provided on request.
Our host, Stephanie is welcoming and hard working. She encourages you to take full advantage of the vast acreage of the property and its extensive wildlife. In the evening, the fallow deer come to within 1-2 metres of the patio area which is a real treat. There are also Red deer and wild boar.
The decor was a little dated, but there aren't really any negatives.

Completely unique stay! The hot tub with the deer walking right in front of it was just magical! The wooden tipis were so exciting and really comfy, we all slept really well as so quiet too. Stephanie was really good at communicating everything with us before our arrival. Homemade brioches and jams at breakfast were a lovely touch and very delicious!
