The view was beautiful. Location was pretty good, on the edge of the old town.

The manager needed to know my check in and check out time. I felt pressure that I needed to arrive at my slotted tine or I wouldn’t be let in the building. Coming from across the country this was an unwelcome pressure. When I got there the manager went upstairs with me to do an “inspection” and sign off on a later about potential charges, and I was told they would do an inspection with me when I left. I needed to indicate damage so I would not be charged, so I inspected the property thoroughly. They were adamant that smoking was not allowed. I don’t smoke and am sensitive to the smell. It appears they have had problems with smokers, because it smelled like smoke. The white chairs in the sitting room were torn and worn out, as were the black kitchen chairs. The wood floors had scratches. The shower had major mold issues as did the washing machine. The bathroom rug had been used and not washed. It was dirty and the matted down like it had been walked on. I took photos of all, since I had to do an inspection. I noticed there was a tall Marriott building behind this one with the same views. I would recommend staying at the Marriott if you can.
