Riverside Retreat is in a perfect location for the city of Durham. The apartment was exceptionally clean.

Arrived to a very friendly welcome and the owner was always quick to answer any questions.
Gorgeous flat with an amazing massive balcony overlooking the river.
Right round the corner from the main town and the many bars and restaurants.
We were supplied with bath robes, slippers (lovely touch) soap, shampoo and conditioner.
Complimentary prosecco, strawberries, tea, coffee, biscuits, milk etc.
Fully equipped kitchen.
Lovely showers and bath.
Everything you needed was there.
We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to return!

We booked as we were getting married in Durham City Centre and wanted additional space to get ready.
The apartment was everything we needed and more.
Central location, parking space, comfy beds and stylish space. Great outdoor area.
James was amazing and provided an amazing hamper and was so accomodating with the make up, hair and photographer attending during the day-arranging that they could park in the car park.

A very enjoyable stay. James the host was very helpful and the accommodation exceptional. Couldn't fault anything. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Thank you James for the hamper and wine, it was very thoughtful.

Location perfect and very easy to enter and leave city by car.
TV was a bit dissapointing, only wifi, no sky or satellite TV.

it was a great couple of days.
He recommended an Italian restaurant (Bistro Italiano) and it was fantastic.
The apartment is luxurious with everything you need.
There was a really nice welcome pack and bottle of wine.

Property was decorated to high standard. Very comfortable sofa and beds. Good shower. Everything you need.

Riverside Retreat is an extremely, well appointment apartment, a short walk from the centre of Durham. It's a little bit of luxury. Also being greeted with a small hamper and a bottle of wine on arrival is a great touch. James is a very pleasant host.

Well equipped apartment with a lovely welcome pack. What a surprise to have Prosecco and strawberries. Location is great. Very quiet. If visiting would definitely stay here. couldn’t be better. Perfect for 4 people.

Fantastic location and James is an excellent host. He met us at the property and gave us lots of tips on where to visit in the area. The apartment had everything we needed and the balcony was great to spend time relaxing a d enjoying the view. Fantastic location
