Great location - poor house.

It has direct access to the Columbia River.

The air conditioning did not work 2 afternoons and evenings in the main part of the house. And I got no help from the management company. They “put in a report.” But no one came to help us.

Bad

Not sure if we liked anything.

We’ve just arrived at the house and are really disappointed with the condition of everything inside. Everywhere is extremely dirty! I don’t think it has been cleaned after the previous people who were here. There is a lot of dust everywhere, the stove is dirty and greasy, the floor is even not vacuumed, refrigerator has food stains, toilet has urine stains around the base and many, many more. We are really, really disappointed! We expected we will find a nice and clean house. You know how important this is especially in the current Covid-19 situation. This is unacceptable at all!! Unfortunately we didn’t have any other option at the moment and had to stay there. We shouldn’t pay for a service that we didn’t receive. Bad, really bad!!!

Disappointing

Large home with lots of sleeping room. Nice deck. View was pretty. Had most everything in in kitchen. Large barbecue.

Home is very outdated & wasn’t real clean. Cobwebs & bugs all over. The carpets & floor looked dirty & our feet were black after walking barefoot. Water area in front of house isn’t really swimmable because there is so many weeds in the water. Tried to bring jet ski in there & it got clogged with the water weeds. For the price we paid (over $2000 for 3 nights) I don’t think this is a good deal. The description of the house said dogs allowed so I made the reservation only to find out only one dog was allowed. Ended up having to find a sitter for outlet dogs because I’m sure we wouldn’t have gotten our $ back. We made our reservation on Booking.com but their info is different than Vacasa. Vacasa (property management company) is very difficult to work with. They won’t tell you until the morning of checking in whether or not you can arrive early even though they didn’t have anybody checking out that day. I called the day before & they said no one was there but that they couldn’t still guarantee an early check in. Then on the night before our departure (after 10 pm) we called to see if we could get a late checkout. We were told it was too late & that the cleaners had already been scheduled even though we were willing to pay for late checkout. The cleaners could have been notified in the morning to come later. So, instead of making extra $, the house will be vacant today. I really don’t understand their policies. I don’t know that I will ever rent from Vacasa again as this is my second time dealing with them & the first time was a bad experience as well.
