This is a very nice place in Legacy, our first time staying at this complex. The condo location is right next to one of the pools, which is good but can also be not so good, there was a large family with 7 or 8 very loud kids who hoarded the entire pool in the evening, so we couldn't even get in, but there are a dozen of other pools throughout the complex, so you have your picks, and there were bikes in the garage if you wanted to get around without a car. Plus, it was nice to jump in the cold pool early in the morning before the days starts heating up and there was nobody there.
The place itself is well laid out and spacious. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need, even a bottle of wine to greet you, a very nice gesture. Beds were comfortable, living room sofa was large and comfy. Overall, we had a feeling that the place is professionally managed for short-term stay purposes, not somebody's grandma's place with old furniture leftovers used for extra income.
The host was very accommodating, we needed late checkout, he made it happen. Very safe complex, great neighborhood, near PGA West, near great restaurants and places to see.
So, overall very happy with the stay. Thank you!

We stayed at the Legacy Villas for a wedding at the neighboring resort. For a family of 6 was much more affordable. We were pleased with the short walk to the resort, about 10 minutes. The unit was comfortable and didn’t feel we were missing out on the resort experience. Was fun to have bikes in the garage and the comfort of a full living room, private courtyard and the pool for us to enjoy

We were short on some basic supplies but the cleaning lady dropped them off and apologized.

My husband and I stayed four nights with another couple and loved it! The location was perfect and the resort property is immaculate with great walking trails, pools, views and more.
All of the towels you added to address some of the concerns I read in pervious comments were more than enough and very nice (including pool towels). Thank you for the fabulous restaurant recommendations and special touches in the condo! We hope to stay there again when we can get away from Atlanta!

This is the 3rd or 4th year that we have stayed at Gordon’s and each year gets better. La Quinta is a perfect winter escape. Even with the California weather this year the Coachella Valley was perfect for outdoors activities and Legacy Villas are perfectly situated for all of them.
The unit is clean well appointed and perfect for family with a pool next door and a short walk to the main pool and clubhouse.
Fo sure we’ll be back next year.

We really enjoyed our stay at Gordon's house. From the very start he was accommodating and quick to respond. We didn't have a single issue while staying at the house, and had everything we needed. Convenient location, nice house and overall great stay.

In general the property was nice. It was cleaned before our arrival. However, there a a few things I would suggest. There has to be more bath towels per bedroom. to have only 2 bath towels and 2 wash cloths were unacceptable for us. Must have more supply of those items before we would stay again. Wifi was good, TV usage of remote was a little over whelming. Also please put a broom in the garage for guests to use as the patio was very very dirty and looks like landscaping or cleaning that area has been a long time.

My family of five day enjoyed a two night stay here. Very clean and had everything we needed. Owner was able to accommodate my requests and communicated efficiently. The location was great. The kids loved playing both in the pool behind the house and at the several bigger pools by the clubhouse. I would definitely want to stay here again!

Had a great time staying in the Legacy Villas. This condo was just steps from a pool which made it very convenient. The grounds of the Villas are beautiful and made our morning walks enjoyable.

This was everything we were looking for and as advertised. Every room was very spacious and plenty of room for our big group to sit comfortably in the living room, there was 4 adults and 4 kids. Swimming was on the top of the list for all of us and having the pool literally steps away was a bonus. Very quiet surroundings with little to no outside foot traffic. The air conditioner was already on and pre set to a great temperature. There was tv's in every room if needed and plenty of pool towels available. If I had to make any suggestions I would say to have a list available for upcoming reservations what is available in the kitchen as well as bathrooms. We brought all our own shampoo and conditioner and bath soaps, however we didn't bring extra shower towels, dish soap, there were kitchen knives there but are very dull and could not cut veggies. The place is a bit worn which was ok for us and with the turn over of people understandable, however there was no mention to us about any prior damages and we were worried that we would get the blame..... we should have had some heads up prior to our arrival. The pro's out weigh any cons, would return for future get aways. I forgot to mention that having use to the garage was also a bonus.

We had a very nice stay in this unit at Legacy Villas. Check in was a breeze and the location is great right off one of the pools and having private garage access is a real benefit. There is plenty of space for a larger family and the kitchen came well equipped with everything you'd need to enjoy meals there. As others have mentioned, the furniture and linens have definitely seen their better days and their wear is really showing. This didn't detract from our stay too much, but it's not particularly obvious in the listing photos. Would still very much recommend this unit and we love the Legacy Villas community.

Poolside paradise!
Great location within Legacy Villas. We have stayed in Legacy Villas many times, always in different places, and this was the best location we have stayed in yet. The poolside patio was fantastic. Only minor complaint is the furniture, and kitchen are showing their age/use. Patio furniture is falling apart and much of the stuff in the kitchen is pretty beat up. It didn't affect our enjoyment of the place at all, we'd stay there again in a heartbeat. Gordon was very responsive to emails/messages through the VRBO app.

The property was great for our family to spend quality time together. Gordon is a very responsive owner and the only (very minor) issue we had at the onset was addressed quickly for us. I look forward to renting from him again.

Another great stay at Legacy
Second time we stayed at this home. We love the layout, the comfortable beds, the pet friendly living room and the garage is such a big plus. Location is great, next to a pool and across from the greenbelt. Will definitely rent again!

Great family vacay!
We just spent a week down in the desert and this was our second time staying at Legacy Villas and the first time in this unit. We loved it! One of the 14 pools and hot tub was right out front which made it very easy to go for a quick dip while kiddos were resting. Beds were comfortable and having a full kitchen made it so easy to prepare meals. The living room furniture could use an upgrade for sure but overall it was a clean unit with enough towels/kitchen utensils/etc that our group needed. We also wished there was an electric grill there we could have used. The welcome bottle of wine was a nice touch. We had zero issues while there, everything worked just fine!
The community over all is fantastic, it’s beautiful yet so family friendly. The main pool area is huge and there were always enough lounge chairs. It is a little bit of a walk from
The unit so be prepared to bring a stroller or some extra hands but it really is a beautiful walk through the property and we didn’t mind it one bit. We enjoyed walking around the community on the flat paved roads and also the rocky path at the base of the mountains. The unit comes with a couple of adult and teen bikes and we rented two for our littles under age 5 and it was great for them to ride around. The grounds are meticulous and we enjoyed seeing the roadrunners, jackrabbits and hummingbirds. Every evening after dinner we would walk over to the hammock garden for a little relaxation.
We rented some baby gear from Desert Baby Gear and also used walmart food delivery so once we arrived at the unit our pack and play/high chair/bikes and food and beverages were delivered no problem. Would highly recommend using either of those services as well. Downtown la Quinta is 3mins away and has everything you could need in terms of a great spot for lunch or dinner with the family or a night out with someone special. Our kids loved stuft pizza and nitrofusions ice cream there. Door dash had no problem delivering to us either if we didn’t feel like going out and it was wonderful sitting on the patio having a meal. Palm desert is a short beautiful drive right down the road and we enjoyed walking El Paseo and visiting the living desert zoo. We would absolutely stay here again and give it two thumbs up!
