We had a really warm welcome from the owners, who were lovely. They are in the process of renovating the property but it is spotlessly clean & has everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was a perfect location for the wedding we attended.

Donna and her staff were all very friendly and gave everyone a warm welcome. The hotel had not long changed hands and was in the process of renovation but the hotel was clean, the continental breakfast had lots of choice and the bed was very comfortable. There is no restaurant but the Quarterdeck Tavern is open to the public in the afternoon to early evening and West Bay has plenty of eating places. I will be going back for a longer stay.

Hosts were helpful and informative and did their best to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Free parking for our 2 day stay helped and the property is right in the middle of historic west bay.
Unfortunately, as our room did not have en -suite we had to troop down stairs every time we wanted to visit the loo or have a shower which was a bind. Although West Bay /Bridport appears to be a pricey accommodation area , £250 for a 2 day stay in a room without an ensuite seemed a bit steep to me ?
