Loved the villa, bright, airy, great location. You could walk to the bus stop in 10 minutes or less, the beach, restaurants, shops all right there. Short walk to Sestri Levante. Vincent was very accommodating and helpful. We had a wonderful stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Vicenzo's house. The house itself is very comfortable with lots of space, but the best feature is definitely the deck that faces the water. We spent lots of time out there, soaking in the sun. It was a perfect spring vacation. Vicenzo is a great host and was very responsive whenever we needed anything. The location is perfect for day trips to places like Portofino, Santa Margherita, Cinque Terre, and Genoa.

Property owner/manager Vincenzo, was very communicative and very helpful in getting us taxis, running us to the grocery store and to train station in Sestri Levante. He made sure we were comfortable, and had enough firewood to enjoy the fireplace. We would, without hesitation, stay here again and we would highly recommend.

This is a great villa with a great view of the Mediterranean. It is very beautiful. We went to sleep every night listening to the waves from the Mediterranean. The villa is in an excellent location with easy access to Cinque Terra, Portofino, and Genoa with reasonable drives to Pisa and Siena. It is a great villa with a great view in a great location.

We stayed at 3 places during our 2 week visit to Italy. This multi-leveled villa with spectacular views of the Ligurian Sea was the highlight. It is serviced by a unique elevator from the parking garage up to the main living room and the next level with 3 of the bedrooms. This home was spotless with the best of kitchen and bathroom fixtures. Beds and linens were high end and exceptionally comfortable. The outdoor patios were perfect for sunbathing, dining and sipping Chianti while marvelling at the vistas. We used the gas BBQ one evening and it was just like home. This was one of the best VRBO accommodations we have ever stayed in and I recommend booking early. You should arrange a boat trip along the coast to Portofino. Be sure to make a dinner reservation at Impronta d’acqua, a Michelin starred restaurant that will pick you up at the villa; their food and service were exceptional.

Cavi was a great base to explore the Ligurian coast - we loved visiting Camogli, Santa Margarita, Portofino, Chiavari, Sestri Levante. We also loved our days spent at the beach in Cavi.

This villa in Cavi with a seaview was a perfect stay to end our time in Italy. The house was spacious and the host was extremely helpful with activity suggestions, directions, and the check in process. We were able to park our rented van in the garage below. The sea views were spectacular and the day trips from Cavi were exceptional especially Cinque Terre. We all looked forward to time in the hot tub. 5 star review!

A lovely experience all around! Incredible views, great central location to visit the Italian Riviera. Our host Vincenzo was warm and welcoming, very helpful re places to see and restaurants. Perfect home and will definitely return. The best experience we’ve had in any VRBO. We can’t wait to return and have already highly recommended it to our friends!

Everything about this house was excellent. Vincenzo was a great host from prompt replies before our trip to being available for whatever we needed during the trip. He and his lovely family live downstairs in a separate unit but our house felt private. It was great having him so close. The house was immaculate and well appointed. The room set up was great for our extended family of 7. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. Location was awesome. We could walk to the small town below us and to the beach. The private parking spot in the garage was something very welcome. And the elevator from the garage to the house made the trip just that much easier. The washing machine also came in handy and worked well. And then there was the view and the hot tub. This kids lived in the hot tub. The grownups also enjoyed it while taking in the view with our glasses of wine. We made good use of the propane BBQ. I would heartily recommend this beautiful house. Furniture and beds were comfortable. View and location was premier. Hospitality was top of the line.

Perfect home for 2 families with young kids. Vincenzo had great recommendations for nearby restaurants and hikes! Great proximity for a day trip to Cinque Terre (less than 1 hour train ride). The kitchen is well- equipped with quality appliances and great for preparing family meals with a million dollar view! Our kids loved the hot tub. Highly recommend!

We booked the house for only 2 nights which was to short for this beautiful place. The view from the jacuzzi is amazing. The owner is really kind and lives near the house so the contact is easy. It is the perfect place to relax. We would like to come back once!

Vincenzo is a great host and his home is beautiful. Great location and view. Short walk to town and beach. Be aware that the owner lives right below the apartment so privacy is ok not great and the train runs all night long. Those things being said- we had a great vacation.

The view from this Cavi home will take your breath away...each time you see it! The sunsets are spectacular! The home is very spacious and clean. From its location we easily visited Cinque Terre and Portofino. But perhaps our best day was when we stayed in Cavi Borga, relaxing and exploring the tiny village. We ate at several of the restaurants and were pleased with every meal. We walked to the Village several times during our stay. It is an easy walk (look for the steps down into the heart of the Village). Vincenzo is a very inviting host, and will help you with any information you might need. And did I mention...the view will take your breath away! (My only suggestion is: if you are a very light sleeper, as I am, take ear plugs because the train runs until late at night. It didn't bother my husband at all)

What a special place! My husband and I spent three weeks at Vincenzo’s beautiful villa; and it wasn’t enough time! We were very sad to leave. The villa occupies a superior location on the Riviera. The views are breathtaking, and the breeze and air are wonderful! Vincenzo and his family definitely made us feel like it was home! My husband is always ready to return to the US, but he didn’t want to leave this piece of paradise. The town of Cavi is a short walk down (we would say, let’s “walk downstairs”, which meant let’s walk down to Cavi). We enjoyed having aperitifs at Borgo (loved the Ugo Spritz), eating at the Cantina, and talking with the butcher (he helped me with my Italian). We also fell in love with Sestri Levante. Nettuno and Zeus Bar are great places for sunset! We visited Monterosso (and Buranco winery), and Vernazza, where we took a boat taxi to see Cinque Terra from the sea. We also visited Portofino, and spent a day at one of our favorite beach clubs at Paraggi Bay (Bagni Fiore). We were on several boat excursions and our favorite was Set Sail Tour with Captain Mike (we sailed with him twice: day time and sunset). Vincenzo suggested that we visit the Bisson Winery for a tasting, and what a surprise it was! Pietro, the owner, cooked for us and proudly explained to us his special wine making method (amazing)! We enjoyed all of our activities; but most of all we enjoyed relaxing at the villa. Our Italian friends from Lugano visited us one weekend, and enjoyed it so much that they cancelled all their plans and returned the following weekend. (My friend said to me yesterday, “Thank you for introducing us to Vincenzo, we are going back next weekend”). It is definitely a breath of fresh air! Thank you Vincenzo for a wonderful stay, for the wine, and the special gift! I loved the written note. Luna Bella is still missing Giorgia and Matteo!

My wife and I spent a week in this wonderful place and couldn't be more thrilled with the experience. 4 lovely bedrooms, all with air conditioners was certainly more space than we needed but gave the feel of living for a week in our very own vacation home on the Riviera. The view from the living area, 2 front bedrooms, and balcony (hot tub) can't be described in words or captured fully with photos! The location is great for visits to Sestri Levante, Santa Margharita Ligure, Portofino, and many other places in the area. We flew into Milan and rented a car. The drive to the coast was about 2 hours and the roads were nice. We were glad to have a car with us for our plans but I could easily see spending a week here with nothing but relaxing in mind where you wouldn't need one. If you are looking to spend a day on the sea I would highly recommend looking up Captain Mike and Set Sail Tours who takes out groups on his sailboat from Lavagna. Truly one of the best days of our entire trip and just a 10 minute ride away. I would also recommend the hike along the coast from Santa Margherita Ligure to Portofino and definitely plan some time for just relaxing at this wonderful property. Vincenzo was a lovely host and took care of any needs or questions we had throughout our stay. His only goal was to ensure we had the best week ever and boy did we! One of the best meals of our trip was at Raui just down the hill in Cavi that Vince recommended. Truly an unforgettable week that already has us trying to figure out when we can come back! My family have just enjoyed a wonderful 2 weeks holiday in this beautiful villa. Vincenzo and his family were very welcoming, always on hand and helping us whenever needed. The villa has a vista you will never tire of. I certainly would not hesitate to recommend this gorgeous home.
