The location was amazing. Manarola is the best of the towns (in our opinion) and this was well situated in that it was quiet but still part of everything. We were met at the train station by a lovely lady who took us to the apartment and showed us around. The local pasta shop adjacent was brilliant for breakfasts and dinner which we enjoyed on our balcony. Very modern apartment with nice decor. Tip to future travellers - the hot water tank in the kitchen needs to be turned on in order to get hot water in the shower. This wasn't explained to us so we had a few days of cold showers, not terrible in the summer!
While it wasn't the owners fault (and he apologized and tried rectifying it) we were relying on the promised Wi-Fi (coming from overseas) and this was unavailable for the entire stay, so we'd have to eat out at restaurants to use their Wi-Fi which cost much more than we'd budgeted for. Note to other travelers: There is no Wi-Fi at the station or square. As we had no Wi-Fi back in the apartment, we were not able to make bookings for tours except in person. All things to keep in mind if you are travelling to Cinque Tere from overseas.

The shower was weak and thermostat was broken scaling water/freezing cold. Stopper in bathroom sink kept getting stuck.

THE APARTMENT WAS VERY NICE AND IN A PERFECT AREA. WE LOVED OUR STAY EXCEPT FOR HAVING TO WAIT FOR HOT WATER BETWEEN SHOWERS.

IT WAS FOUR OF US THAT STAYED THERE BUT THE FIRST MORNING WE WERE THERE I HAD TO TAKE A VERY COLD SHOWER DUE TO NO HOT SHOWER. WE CONTACTED HOST AND THEY SAID THAT WE HAD TO WAIT A WHILE BETWEEN SHOWERS IF WE WANTED HOT WATER. ALSO, THE LAST DAY OF OUR STAY, THE TOILET WASN'T FLUSHING. THESE BUILDINGS ARE VERY OLD AND I UNDERSTAND WHY WE HAD THESE ISSUES. WE HAD TO LOOK FOR A RESTROOM IN THE CAFES CLOSE TO THE APARTMENT BEFORE WE CHECKED OUT.

We stayed in Manarola for 5 days, remote working in SG hours (3am to 12pm local time), and taking the afternoon for vacation. Apartment was very cosy and well-equipped for our needs. The internet was down for a few days in the whole village due to service provider TIM’s repair works. Owner was kind enough to get us a temporary local SIM card for our work. Appreciate it!

the location is very near the exit of the Manarola station. it’s just less than 5mins walk uphills. perfect spot to stay for a couple of nights, where you can enjoy Nessun Dorma and Trattoria dal Billy. the apartment is very clean and well equipped. instruction to the house is very clear too. host is very responsive.

Great location, AC in both rooms, well equipped kitchen, close to cafes and shops. Balcony was nice to sit on and enjoy the view of Manarola. Highly recommended.

The boiler water (hot water) is insufficient for 3 people to take a shower 1 time a day. We traveled all day long and later in the evening, when we got back, only 2 people could shower consecutively (if you moved fast). The shower battery should be changed as it doesn't allow using water with less pressure (you have to turn the dial to max to the right to get into the hot water, which defeats the purpose of the 65 L boiler, emptying it really fast). The recharge time is almost 1-2 hrs, so you'll have to wait for the next shower that much amount. But sure, having a glass of wine on the balcony while waiting never hurt anyone :)

Elena was wonderful! She waited for us patiently and welcomed us with a big smile even though we were 30 mins. late. In fact, even before we arrived, when she found out that we missed our train to Manarola, she told us the time of the next train to take and re-assured us that she will wait for our arrival. I would really like to commend Elena for her warmth, patience and understanding towards her guests.
As for the property, it was amazing! It has a spacious living room, a very functional kitchen, clean bathroom, and a comfy private room. The property looks very modern and nice and bright because of its white and blue interior. The property is also conveniently situated - 10 mins. away from the train station, there's a Coop market 2 mins. away, and Manarola's scenic view is only 10 - 15 mins. away. If I get a chance to go back to Cinque Terre, I will choose this property again!

The room is very clean and the decoration is very beautiful. The host met us to give us the keys and help us get situated. The location of the apartment is very great, and it's good for family vacation.
The shower holder was broken, but the host apologized when we clarified with her. Everything else is perfect.
