How did we love Casa Palmeira? Let us count the ways.The beautiful villa. The warm, inviting pool. The hot tub. The well-stocked kitchen. The beach just minutes away. The majestic trees. The birdsong each morning. The privacy. The sense that, for a little while, we had discovered our own hidden corner of Portugal.Most of all, we loved how Casa Palmeira made us feel—relaxed, restored, and completely at home. It felt less like a vacation rental and more like a personal retreat. The hosts were wonderful, and every aspect of our stay reflected their care and attention.Some places are pleasant. A few are memorable. Casa Palmeira was magical.The only complaint from the three of us? Eventually, we had to leave.

We had an amazing week staying at this villa – perfect for two families! There was plenty of space both indoors and outdoors, so everyone could relax together or enjoy some quiet time alone. The outdoor area was a highlight, with a great pool, a relaxing hot tub, and lots of space for both kids and adults to unwind.The hammock was a favorite spot for afternoon reading and naps, and we loved cooking in the well-appointed kitchen and grilling meals on the outdoor BBQ. Each bedroom had air conditioning, which was a real plus, especially during the warmer nights.Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up – we couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our vacation. Highly recommended!

The villa was easy to find as part of Santo Antonio. The size was perfect for our family to stay for one week. The garden and pool area was beautiful and everything we needed was in the villa. The range of books is great and we played board games in the evening. Spikes Bar on site is good for a bar snack, Vincentinos good for eating in or a takeaway. D’adlieia (pizzas) very good and a close drive. Our favourite restaurants were Agua na boca and Spice Cottage - both in Salema, approx 10 min drive. Dolphin watching with Salema Tours was great, and a visit to the spa on site for a massage! Driving in The Algarve is very easy and the local supermarket is 5 mins drive from the villa. We loved the villa - peaceful and relaxing allowing us all to rest and enjoy family time. We had everything we needed and Margot was on hand via messaging throughout the booking process. The pool lights were not working on arrival and we contacted the property management company. It was not an issue at all and the repair was carried out during the week. Thank you to all involved for a great stay - we hope to come back and we recommend this villa and area!

The villa was amazing , the outdoor space around the pool and the multiple outdoor eating areas really make it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the weather. Location wise it's great, 5 min taxi to the beach and restaurants and 15/20 minutes to Lagos. Customer service was second to none and made for a very enjoyable and relaxing week. Would highly recommend!
