Breakfast n/a. Location was reasonable - nice views to rear.

The property is poorly presented - unclean and smells of dogs and damp. The furniture is grimy, the kitchen surfaces were greasy and the lighting was poor with light bulbs not working. The wiring to the appliances looks extremely suspect, all leading off a 4 gang extension lead. Despite a return journey of 3 hours we decided not to stay and immediately returned home. It would be nice to think we might receive a refund but not living in hope.

great cottage just a short walk out of the centre. good size for 4 adults. loads of parking space. we loved the garden which was enclosed for our two dogs. also lovely patio to sit and enjoy the amazing views. had a lovely time and will definitely be going again 👍

The location of the property was excellent a with fantastic views out across the dales. The property was a good size and easily big enough for 4 of us.

The property could do with a little bit of updating, a lick of paint here and there, however the property was clean and comfortable and the updating isn’t what you would call urgent.

We stayed for 4 nights over a cold , wet and windy week and found the cottage nice and warm. The beds were comfortable with good linen. The cottage was homely and well equipped with everything you might need. A short walk takes you to the main street and there are easy walks straight from the cottage . Convenient parking in front of the house was appreciated. There were only 2 of us but it has 2 good sized bedrooms and 2 camp beds for bigger families. The pretty garden will be lovely for a summer visit.

The sofa and chairs could be more comfortable and could be cleaner.

The property was amazing and the view was beautiful, the location was great close to everything, the village itself was very accommodating for dogs

The only thing I would change in this cottage would be to add an external back light, as it was hard to see the dog late at night when he needed toilet
