We loved our stay at Wallace Lodge. It's a lovely and charming cottage with loads of character. It was very clean and comfortable with everything you would need. It's location is right in the centre of the town. We would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely furnishings, very comfortable and quant studio in the main street.

I would of liked a hot plate to brew coffee but there was a coffee plunger so we made do.

Such a well thought out apartment. So many interesting items and beautiful paintings. The king bed was pure lush! Everything you need is there. The host Elizabeth was so lovely and helpful. Going back in April and can’t wait! Excellent location.

Loved everything

The room was extremely clean and located right in town. You can step out and find all you need within walking distance. We were initially concerned regarding traffic noise but it was quiet overnight. You can park on the street directly outside the apartment. The apartment has an unusual but interesting decor with a mixture of modern to antique. The owner met us prior to our departure. Elizabeth was very friendly and did not rush us in any way. A very pleasant and enjoyable stay. Thank you, Elizabeth.

The apartment had all that you needed the only issue was that the bath towels were rough but they did dry well.

We loved everything about our stay here. The location, the comfy bed, the large room. Peaceful at night even though right on the main road. Some amazing restaurants in Braidwood. Great spot to stay.

It's more like an apartment than a motel room. The very large bed is extremely comfortable. And the place is full of tasteful antique furniture and original artwork by the owner.

The cooking facilities are basic but since Wallace Lodge is located in the middle of Braidwood on the main street this really isn't a disadvantage.

We called the phone number provided and were met within 5 minutes to receive the key.

Bed was a little hot with a winter doona

This is a great little cottage accommodation right in the historic town of Braidwood. Everything we needed was walking distance with the outlook being a heritage buildings streetscape. Elizabeth has excelled in her ability to make the best use of the space using an eclectic style of interior decorating which was very pleasant and incredibly comfortable . You will find one night is nowhere near long enough for your stay so make plans to extend your break .

Our stay was cut short due to a snap state Covid lockdown which meant we had to head home before we intended.
