One of the most atmospheric places I ever stayed. A very quiet place to take rest. Very firendly hosts. Excellent breakfast. Home made liqueurs :-)

It has the potential to be a truly beautiful property; nestled in the countryside with spacious grounds. It has a pleasant laid-back vibe and the bilingual owners are very obliging.

As well as being a hotel, it is a family home and this is seen in the clutter in and around the house. Sadly, it is seriously neglected. Weeds overrun the garden, the shutters are rotten and our bathroom, across the hallway to our room, was dirty, outdated and split - with the toilet being on one side of a staircase in a divided cubicle with a thin partitioned wall between ours and another’s toilet (think hostel bathroom) and the bath/shower head being at the other side of the staircase. So much potential; but so much needs doing to really make this an enjoyable stay.

We had a lovely stay at the house. Keep in mind that it’s an old house which means the interior is dated. The bathroom is old but sufficient. However, the area is beautiful and romantic. The hosts are very nice people. We loved the breakfast!!

Hygene could be better. Also, the way/route to the hotel is very rocky. It is an off road path.
