Casa Velero is a beautiful semi-detached, modern, rustic Villa built with the best materials: stone, terracotta floors and tiles, etc. Only 100m away from the water edge and in the best area of town, quiet but within five minutes of all the central amenities. Please note that due to the nature of the garden ''spikes in captus and palms'' and to the very quiet nature of this area children are not allowed in the property (all visitors must be over 18 years of age).The spacious and bright open plan kitchen-dinning-living area is superbly equipped to the standard of a modern home. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The first floor master bedroom has two terraces facing the north-east sunrise, the sea, Lobos Island and the beautiful cactus garden and large pool and barbecue and a south-west secluded terrace for private sun tanning. The U shape design of the mini complex of six houses makes the beautiful palm and captus garden, a heaven for relaxation and sun tanning. Its large (9 m by 4 m) pool and solarium with lounges and chairs , will make difficult the decision of walking to the famous Corralejo Sand dunes or the nearby shops, market and water Park.
Food, shopping, travel, night life, banks: Corralejo offers a great variety of good restaurants to appreciate local and international cuisine, many of them along a promenade overlooking the sea,There is a wide choice of nice shops and Supermarkets. A bus service operates throughout the Island, and a boat leaves hourly sailing to Lanzarote (18 min journey). The harbour offers all sort of entertainment from Catamaran sailing to fishing or day trips to Lobos Island. The night life is great ,with a variety of bars offering life music, or a quiet drink depending on mood. There are international banks too.
Kite surfing, wind-surfing, sailing, scuba diving: Fuerteventura is well known for the spectacular beaches and sun dunes of the Parque Natural, which is approx. 500 m away from Casa Velero, stretching for 14 km. the Rocky Point (one of the best surfing spots in Canaries) is five minutes walking another five and you are in Flag Beach one of the 'hot' spots for windsurfing and kite surfing in Europe. Carry on into Oliva Beach with its gorgeous dunes and you have your day. Some people come to Fuerteventura just to see this breathtaking Natural Park. Organized trips to do scuba diving, sailing, Jet ski, etc. is just 400 m away from Casa Velero. If you stay longer than a week, renting a car will allow you to see other beautiful places in this exotic Island. In the south, Cofete is a unique sight and the inside of the Island with its old capital city Antigua or the postcard beauty of Betancuria make worth a day in car, driving through gentle hills of volcanic origin.

We had a brilliant time staying here for a week. Eduardo was an amazing host who greeted us upon arrival and kept in touch for the duration of our stay; answering all questions regarding the property and local area, as well as suggesting where best to go. The property is lovely; very clean and cool, and well equipped with plenty of cooking equipment. Great shared pool, the area was very quiet and so we were always the only ones using the pool which made the holiday even more special.

This villa is in an excellent location - minutes from a shopping centre and the main street. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, plus the owner was very helpful and told us we could contact him if we needed anything else. The beds are comfortable and it was a bonus having 2 x bathrooms. There are several beaches close to the villa, but we loved the pool. We would definitely recommend this villa, and would happily stay here again.

Great Stay in Corralejo
The compound consists of 3 houses holding 2 apartments each sharing a pool. The location is close to Campanaria Mall as well as Waikiki beach and a short walk to the main strip Corralejo, so very good!
We enjoyed our stay very much, as it is a neat place holding a small family. The kids could play around the house (mind the pool), there is playgrounds close as well as the main beaches. We had enough space for everything, the house is in a good shape. As for us located in Corralejo, this was the best place to stay we have stayed so far!. Thank you very much for the kind contact, Eduardo, we will come back next time we get to go to Fuerte!

Relaxing vacation
This property is located in the center of a nice neighborhood. It is equipped with everything you need for a self catering stay. The pool is lovely and the palm trees provide a bit of shade. A shopping complex with restaurants is 3 minutes away (3 Calici Restaurant is a must). The main strip is a short walk from the house. We usually walked the extra distance to the old part of town that we found more appealing. Here you also find some excellent restaurants. Eduardo is a very nice and helpful host and we would book this property again.

We had a wonderful holiday in Corralejo. Villa Velero is well equipped and it immediately felt like home there. Eduardo is very helpful and always available if you have any questions. The location of the house is perfect: it is very quiet and private, but you can reach the center in a few minutes, where you will find great restaurants and many shops. The city beach is also within walking distance, but the beach at the dunes of Corralejo is much nicer. It takes a maximum of 10 minutes by car to get there. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to return soon! =)

A Comfortable and peaceful property in Corralejo
A lovely quiet and comfortable villa in an excellent location. Just a pleasant 10 minute stroll to the beach, bars and restaurants.
We met Eduardo the villa owner who was at hand if we needed him. Eduardo was really generous in ensuring we were having a good time.
As always a week goes by quickly and we would have liked to have stayed longer.

Well kitted out and everything you needed for a self catering holiday. Met the owner and cleaner on the first day and was really given a warm Canarian welcome. Small gated complex,only 6 houses rarely met any of the other residents as we were down the beach all day but when we did they were very friendly. Great pool set in a beautiful cactus garden. Lovely location so near to the shops, cafes ,restaurants and waterfront. When we go away we don't look for perfection but Edwardo and his lovely house ticked all the boxes and would highly recommend this place for all the reasons above. Good location, as described
Four of us ( 2 couples) stayed for 6 nights at Casa Velero. It's in a very quiet location near to the Campanario shopping centre so ideal for getting your supplies. Takes about 15 minutes to walk to the main strip in town which was great for walking off your evening meal. Well equipped with all that you need for your stay including beach towels. Washing up stuff was also available which is a bonus.
The first floor bedroom was roomy with a good size shower, unfortunately the ground floor bedroom was very small with a very small shower - not really ideal for adults.
The complex was empty during the week so no problem using the pool, however at the end of our stay at the weekend we were told in no uncertain terms by the German neighbours in number 5 or 6 that the pool should not be used by holidaymakers who sublet the villa as it contravenes the rules of the complex.
There is obviously an ongoing dispute between Eduardo and his neighbours and we were caught in the middle of it. The neighbour then told us we could use it for 5 minutes only and we weren't even allowed to put our sun loungers around
it. Eduardo was keen to reassure us that the issue raised by the neighbours was incorrect and he was very apologetic about the situation. We feel he should work towards a permanent resolution with the neigbours to prevent future occurrences of this issue.
Overall: good location, all as described, and we didn't let the neighbour issue bother us.

Relaxing quiet holiday with lovely accommodation
Thank you Eduardo for letting us stay in your lovely villa. It was very well equipped and set in beautiful surroundings which were so peaceful. That cacti were amazing and I enjoyed swimming in the pool every day. Location was perfect! Within walking distance of everything you might need. Two minutes walk from a small shopping centre with restaurants and bars. Just a short walk from the beautiful beach where you can walk along the promenade to many bars and restaurants and also very close to the centre of town. A wonderful break.

Lovely comfortable villa in peaceful location
We were extremely happy with everything about this villa and Eduardo was helpful and friendly.
The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk from Campanerio shopping centre, the main strip, and beautiful beaches. Very centrally located but quiet and peaceful for relaxing too. There is a wonderful and well kept cactus garden around the house, which we enjoyed very much, as well as a swimming pool available to guests.
The house was beautifully clean, well furnished and well equiped with everything anyone could need. We appreciated the dishwasher and the coffee machine especially.
The television receives both Spanish and International channels, which host Eduardo took the time and trouble to explain fully to us, plus there is great WiFi in the house.
Eduardo is a super host and we couldn't have wished for more. We absolutely loved this house and will definitely be returning.
Highly recommended to everyone.

Excellent villa
Just returned from a brilliant stay at Casa Velero. The details of the villa are just as described and so much more. We stayed as a group of four ladies and found there was more than enough room . The villa is accessed through a locked gate and has a lovely , peaceful atmosphere. Edwardo is on hand if you have any problems but not intrusive. Short walk on an evening takes you into town where there are lots of different restaurants to suit every taste. During the day we relaxed around the pool but did have a lovely day out to Isla de Lobos . Would recommend Casa Velero for a lovely relaxing holiday and we would certainly book this villa again in the future.

Casa Velero is 100% everything the website describes it to be. But so much more too. Eduardo couldn't be a more amiable, helpful and delightful "landlord." He is on hand to advise and answer any questions but in no way intrusive.
The villa is very comfortable, great location and well equipped. As previous guests have described it to be, the villa is well located so you can get away from it all or be in the thick of it very easily. Whiling away the days reading by the pool surrounded by stunning cactii laid garden borders or mooching about in the locals shops, bars and restaurants the options are plentiful. The beaches are endless and the roads are a dream to drive on. We played golf near Calete de Fuste just under an hour away on pleasant golf courses though Salinas was our preferred one as it was quieter and in better condition.
We would thoroughly recommend Casa Velero as a great place to stay.

A great mix of relaxation and good fun
Firstly, if Eduardo see's this, I apologise that it's taken about 3 months to remember to leave a review!
Myself and 4 friends stayed with Eduardo for a week and cannot fault our stay in any way. The villa itself is in a secure, quiet area with easy access to the pool and only a few minutes walk from the main town and Eduardo was always on hand to help with anything we needed.
The place itself was pretty much exactly what we were looking for - it offers the option of quiet nights or nights that quickly become morning depending on where you go in town. Don't go expecting it to be a party resort, it isn't, but that's not to say you can't enjoy a night out. Oh and if you don't already get sent there by everyone you speak to, make sure you check out the bar on the beach Waikiki; fantastic food through the day and a great atmosphere in to the evening.
Activity wise we tried both Scuba and windsurfing, both well worth it. Eduardo has really good knowledge of which schools are the best to go to so just ask him which provide the best value for money.

IDEAL LOCATION.
Stayed here for 10 days in August and had a lovely relaxing holiday. Eduardo is a lovely man with a good command of English, he is always on hand to help with any problems or queries you may have. ( lives at the back of the property but completely separate from the house. ) The property is nicely situated on a small private complex of 5 houses and completely secure with locked gateway. Lovely swimming pool which nice and clean and not too cold. Also a outside shower after your swim. My wife and I seemed to have the pool entirely to ourselves throughout our stay. The local supermarket is on 3 Mins Walk away and we found it to be very cheap, especially fruit and veg. Spanish tomatoes are sooooooo much better than back here in England. The town of Corralejo is only a 10 Min stroll away where you will find many bars and restaurants, however depending on your age ( ie. over 60 ) the best area is the OLD TOWN at the end of the high street where you will find some lovely restaurant right on the beach, LA-PLAYITA right on the sea front is lovely. Just around the corner from there is the Music square where, as we did most night just sat with a glass or 2 of wine and listened to the live music. Many people young and old were up Dancing in the square. The main Beach where the 2 RIU Hotels are is a 5 min bus ride away, very high waves the days we went and no swimming, however a very long beach leading to the Dunes. Overall a relaxing holiday where a car is not needed at all if all you want is to relax and walk to town etc. Eduardo will assist you if you wish to take a trip or arrange for a PROPER Taxi to go somewhere. Would definitely return if we go back to Fuerteventura in the future. At the moment found most of the restaurants to be good value for money. Wish were back there now as is pouring with rain as I right this, Oh well, maybe next year.

Stay at Casa Valero - April/May 2013
We had a splendid time in Casa Valero. It is an amazing villa in a great loaction. It is a very relaxing and safe place. We could leave the surf boards on the roof of our car just in front of the villa. Additionally, the owner Eduardo is very supportive and helpful and makes sure your stay is the best you can get.
I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a smooth vacation in Corralejo.

Casa Velero - jederzeit wieder
Im Juli 2012 verbrachte ich mit meiner Familie (2 Kinder - 15 und 9 Jahre alt) 2 Wochen traumhaften Urlaub im Casa Velero. Ein wirklich sehr zu empfehlendes Haus mit allen Annehmlichkeiten. Alles entsprach genau den Beschreibungen, es fehlte an nichts. Eine komplett ausgestattete Küche mit Wasch- und Spülmaschine, viel Platz auf 2 Stockwerken, ein sehr schöner und gepflegter Kakteengarten und ein großzügiger Pool, den wir eigentlich immer für uns allein hatten, sorgten für Entspannung und Spaß. Unser freundlicher Vermieter Eduardo war immer für uns da und konnte uns mit Tipps und Informationen weiterhelfen. Aufgrund der zentralen und dennoch ruhigen Lage von Casa Velero ist kein Auto notwendig, man kann alles gut zu Fuß erreichen. Auch das Sport- und Freizeitangebot ist recht gut (Wasserpark, Wassersport, Boots- und Erlebnistouren). Selbst zu dem paradiesischen Strand im Naturschutzgebiet kann man bequem mit Bus oder Taxi fahren - wohl der schönste Platz auf Fuerteventura. Ein traumhafter Urlaub im schönen Casa Velero - jederzeit wieder!

Great Family Holiday
We had a fantastic time in Corralejo.
The villa was everything we could ask for and more. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool. Eduardo is really helpful and made sure everything was perfect.
The beaches are fab and we enjoyed eating out in the various restaurants every night.
