We really liked the space and traditional decor. Quiet location near a nice square with market and restaurants. Supermarket close by. Pleasant walk to the city centre. Hosts very helpful with local information.

A grand apartment with lots of character, modern plush bathroom with big shower. The WiFi didn't work but 4G reception good, the kitchen well equipped and fully functional, the beds were comfy and it's a quiet neighbourhood, so no sleep issues.
Caroline was a good host and contacted me with all the relevant info despite the VRBO app not being usable to communicate.

Beautiful apartment with interesting and original decoration throughout.
The hosts were flexible and helpful with our check in and departure requests.

Museum was close by for our family ages 2&4 which was awesome!
If you rent car ( which we did) she has parking in a private space for 10.00 a day. Which was super reasonable!
I made a mistake and did not add my kids on the reservation ( busy Mom lol) so be sure to do that. We compensated Caroline for it though!
Caroline provided toys for the kids at the house which was super nice of her!
I was able to make dinner while we were there which made things easy for settling in for our first night with the kids. Restaurants can be a little crazy with them at the moment!
We loved the cozy home! Thank you Caroline!

3 couples backpacking from Amsterdam to Paris enjoyed the easy access from Luxembourg train station (one transition from the midi/Zude/South Station where we found excursions to Ghent, Bruge, and ultimately Paris). We made good use of the kitchen & dining areas for a home-cooked meal. Kitchen had basic needs like oil, salt & pepper for cooking. We also made good use of the laundry…but guests should plan to bring their own laundry pods. Location was perfect for experiencing various areas of Brussels. Fish market, groceries, & beer/wine were all within a block. Short walk to nice outdoor cafe plaza with a myriad of dining options—we loved the frites & wood fired pizza. Would stay here again.

It was warm and inviting. Turned out to be a great location. Found restaurants, bars and stores close to us and eventually a train station that was very near.

First of all, the fact that Fabrice met us to give us the keys and introduce us a bit to the history of the home and give us a short lay of the land, was so refreshing. everything now is down with lockboxes and electronic check-ins, which is efficient, but the personal touch of meeting a friendly human being face to face who is so proud of the property, was great. The apartment is gorgeous, one-of-a-kind home. it felt like we were staying in a little piece of history. So spacious, even the outdoor terrace was appreciated to enjoy coffee. My only recommendation would be to provide some paper towels in the kitchen. But other than that, magnificent. it's a little bit of a longer walk into the city, but perfectly communicable. if you want to feel like a queen, stay here. Thank you, Fabrice!

A lovely apartment close to transport links to the City. Quiet location with lovely restaurants a short walk away. Perfect for our group.

This is an absolutely stunning apartment - it is even better than the pictures.
Everything was perfect for our needs - good bedrooms and bathroom. Having the car space was great, as limited parking in the vicinity.
A reasonable 20 minute walk to the centre of the historic centre. And plenty of restaurants within 10 minute walk, too.
Thanks, Caroline. I’ve already passed on your details to friends. It was lovely.

The pictures give an accurate depiction of the apartment, which is a three-block walk from the Luxembourg station, which will take to to Midi Station in 10 minutes. The best fish shop in Brussels is across the street. And there are little grocery shops one block in either direction. The kitchen is reasonably well-equipped, but if you're interested in cooking, you'll need to purchase all your staples. The only drawback to the apartment is that the master bedroom and the one bathroom are down a steep flight of stairs, which is inconvenient. In all a lovely place to stay.

Communication and accommodation were great!
You can really see that the owner care about the apartment and it was always quick response if we had questions during our stay. We were a group of six and here I already can recommend to get the extra room with bed and toilet.
This is the only slightly confusing topic, but it is mentioned in the description.
Even the kitchen offers everything fo longer stays and you are really nearby parlament, parlament station and musuem of natural sience which is worth a visit!
If you arrive by car take the additional parking lot from the accomodation. It is nearby and byfar the cheapest option for you.
If you just want something to eat or a drink think about Jourdanplein instead of the inner city. It is a few minutes away by feet and offers great restaurants and bars.
Will come back here if I have another trip to Brussel.

Wonderful stay in Brussels- the property really is stunning and the location is great too. Very close to public transport, parks and lots of great bars and places to eat. The host, Caroline, was brilliant, great communication and super helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

This flat is located very near the European Parliament complex. We took long walks to the main Brussels sites but there is public transport available as well. The flat is on the ground floor of a grand old building with views of the street and the nice garden. It has high ceilings a nice sized dining room and modern kitchen. One bedroom is on the main floor. The bathroom and another bedroom is in the basement. We found a few problems that were addressed quickly.

This duplex is just stunning. The interior has so much vintage charm, but with modern amenities. My family enjoyed the stay so much and wish we had more time in this charming apartment and city. There are tons of great restaurants and squares just a few steps away. We felt very safe as a family in this neighborhood and enjoyed its diversity. We all agreed a future trip to Belgium was a must, as will a longer stay in Fabrice and Caroline’s lovely home.

It was really fun for our family of three to have so much space to relax at the end of the day. Easy access to transit. Back garden is a real bonus. And wonderful to have access to laundry facilities!

Central to everything. Enjoyed our short stay which we had more time.

This is a very old house that is kinda cool. There are no shower supplies so make sure to bring your own, the bathroom was in the basement so please think about this if there are any issues with stairs. Also, it’s awesome to have a washing machine.. just know it is down a really step flight in the basement. It was not easy to get a response back about a questions. It was clean, but could use a good cleaning of cob webs.

The place is beautiful and is a great balance of historical architecture and decor combined with modern conveniences. The back patio/garden is great for hanging out in the evening or morning. Being old, the overall property and main hallway are a little noisy, so you might want to bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Fabrice gave lots of great suggestions for restaurants and areas to check out. My only minor suggestion would be for more communication about the policies sooner.

Beautiful apartment and good quiet location. Nice backyard and terrace. Basement unit was quite humid and there was some drainage issue with the shower, but overall a good experience.

Lovely authentic Brussels apartment with a lovely little courtyard. Kitchen facilities good. Great location. Close to public transport.
Bed in room next to kitchen needs to be replaced (sink to middle). Bed in lower room next to bathroom is good.
Would stay again

Great apartment that is close to everywhere, but feels quiet and secluded from bustle of city. Also very beautifully renovated with modern plumbing, Wi-Fi, TV, kitchen, etc. Fabrice was super easygoing and great with communication. He gave us lots of tips on where to go, what to do, local amenities, etc. Overall our family had a wonderful stay and we really enjoyed the apartment. We would definitely stay there again!

My family of 4 stayed here while traveling through Belgium. The apartment is located in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Walkable to city center. The layout worked well for our family and laundry availability was a plus! The apartment is beautiful and the hosts are lovely.

Lovely apartment in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood near food and train station. Very comfortable. Hosts were very nice.

Aesthetically this was a beautiful apt but all the fine details to make it truly comfortable were not there. The beds were terrible; squeaky, hard, and one was on an oversized platform that caused us to bang our legs as we walked around. The unit door lock is an antique lock which looks cool but was impossible to properly close. The upper kitchen cabinets were strangely high making it hard to grab plates and cups. The downstairs bedroom was musty after the rain, and the dryer didn't work. The owner did allowed us early and late check in, which was greatly appreciated, but they were slow on answering questions and responding. In all, I was glad we only stayed one night before moving on.
