We had the best stay. It was exactly what we were looking for. Privacy, beautiful views but still close to downtown. Hiking trails right next to the property. Just a beautiful place to spend the week.

Perfect location and excellent getaway. The list they had for restaurants/breweries were spot on.

The house is in a great location with a breathtaking view, well equipped with everything we needed, and close proximity to hiking, lots of stores and restaurants, and Biltmore. The communication leading up to the rental was fantastic and the most comprehensive set of instructions I've ever received. I highly recommend this house for your Asheville, NC visit!!

We rented last year for the month of August and we did the same this year. We love it here, so relaxing, quiet, comfortable, clean and I think Kristyn did a really nice job with decorating. Kristyn the owner is so nice to work with, very attentive and super sweet. If we don't move first to NC we will rent again at some point.

Mountains, trails, views, seclusion AND access to all of Asheville
The Blue Ridge Fire Tower is a wonderful accommodation in a wonderful location. You can enjoy what feels like a secluded, private cabin in the mountains while also being 15 minutes from all the activities of downtown Asheville. We loved it for its best-of-both-worlds offering.

Very relaxing
My husband and I spent the whole month of August here and it was so relaxing and comfortable. We hiked right from the house on the days that we were not hiking or golfing elsewhere. We saw black bears, a mother and her 2 cubs 3 times within the month, so cool, along with deer, turkey's, and quarrels. The evenings that we were there we enjoyed the beautiful views from the deck. The owners are wonderful and we also met the brother in law that owns the home above this property and he was lovely too. We had a great time and would rent this property again.

A beautiful retreat for young people or those who are acquainted with wildlife in the mountains. Didn't have the "luck" to see a bear but were forced inside one night by nearby pack of hauling coyotes.
The gravel road up to the house can be steep and narrow but short (0.2 miles) and well marked. The kitchen is well stacked with utensils, dinnerware, and cookware; but bring your own condiments and paper goods. Also, bring your own ax or kindling for fires.
Overall, very clean and private- no neighbors in sight and great panoramic view.

Nicely updated, well stocked with most necessities. Fit our needs well. It is really in the mountains with rugged terrain to navigate to get there, so would recommend 4wd equipped car. That said, it is a relatively short drive to downtown, stores, restaurants etc. We didn’t have the best weather during our stay so the blue ridge parkway was closed which limited some of our activities but the place was comfy and warm and the kids had fun on the porch, the bunkroom, and having a fire. We also walked right out the front door and onto a great hiking trail.

We were six friends celebrating our 25th year of friendship. This House was so cozy and cute. It looked like a page out of pottery barn. Restaurants, grocery store, and breweries were near. Owners were friendly and always replied to questions. Loved it!

We stayed at the peak of leaf changing. The views are incredible and the house is great. The house is close to the blue ridge parkway and fairly convenient to gas groceries and restaurant pickups. A few things to be aware of1. Copper crown restaurant is so good we ordered it for takeout a second night — really convenient. The house kitchen is very good and well stocked too. 2. Big bear walked through the site between the car and the home — don’t leave food or trash out and keep an eye on small kids at all times. 3. There was no axe or fire starting materials. We had stuff for camping and so made kindling and had a couple of fires but if you want a fire, bring matches and a way to make kindling. 4. You’re going to want to have a fire. The last night we sat in the upstairs room with a big thunderstorm and a crackling fire — magical.

Perfect Asheville Getaway
The Blue Ridge Fire Tower was the perfect place for our stay in Asheville. Remarkably close to Asheville and the Parkway, but felt so secluded as well. Very clean, tastefully decorated and the mountain view was stunning. There was also a trail right from the property that we had fun exploring. Communication with the owner was great, overall, couldn’t have been a better stay! We can’t wait to return!

Best of both worlds.
You feel like you are a world away in the Blue Ridge Mountains, yet you are a 10 minute drive to downtown Asheville. Beautiful cabin in a great location.

Beautiful home in a private setting, close to downtown
My family was looking to stay in an house where we felt like we were secluded, while at the same time being close to downtown Asheville. We found the perfect house in the Blue Ridge Fire Tower! It sits on the side of a mountain with beautiful views and hiking trails right outside the front door, and only 15 minutes to downtown. The house was clean, beautifully decorated (think Joanna Gaines) and my family felt right at home. We appreciated the Welcome Packet that the owners sent that included information about their home, the surrounding area and their recommendations for restaurants and things to do. We have stayed at many VRBO properties and this is the first time I felt compelled to write a review. We appreciate the owners sharing their home with us! Can't say enough...would highly recommend this awesome home!
