We were fortunate to stay here for the summer of 2023. And by fortunate, I really mean it, in every way. First, Albert and Christina are fantastic. They met us at the apartment when we checked in, in early June, made sure we were good a week or so later and we didn’t hear from them again. But not because they didn’t want to be involved, the did, but only if we need them but we didn’t. Perfect hosts!! The location - Very good. You have everything you need within a short distance. Two grocery stores, one small, one not as small. Don’t expect anything large, anywhere in Switzerland, that we saw. We shopped for cold stuff in Grindelwald but for anything else, we went to France, Italy or Germany, as you’ll save about 33%. Obviously not practical for short stays. Restaurants, bakery’s and cafes are steps away. You really can’t have too much better of a location. One small thing to note, the third bedroom is above a bakery. It’s really unusable, unless it’s for kids or someone that sleeps like the dead. The bakery people are up, often at 2am, and they’re loud, with music and all. Other than that, really no complaints. It became our home for the summer and we sure do miss our home, our dog included! Thanks you both for the summer of our lives, truly.

We stayed in the appartement the second time and enjoyed every minute. It is spaceious and very well equiped for 8 people. located in the village center - yes you can hear cars and tourists, when the windows are open - but everything is accessabile by foot or you hope on the local bus (for free). the bakery is next door downstairs and offers fresh bread in the morning. From the little balcony you look up to the Eiger and enjoy a drink after a hike. The hosts Christina and Albert are very lovley people and take care of their guests as well of the appartement. The home was perfectly clean, beautiful, had everything we needed and was right by the train station. Christine met us there and showed us everything. She was so friendly and kind. Grindelwald was a beautiful place to hike from! Make sure and over to sure you eat at C und M… they create a beautiful experience and incredible food.

We stayed here for 4 nights. Appreciated Christina and Albert meeting us at the apartment when we arrived and greeting us, walking us through the place, and giving us recommendations on restaurants. Cannot say enough about how special this couple is. Nice to meet such warm people so far away from home. The apartment itself was roomy with great appointments and spotless. The kitchen had everything you need to cook. Hope to stay here again should our road lead us back to Grindelwald.

This apartment is very spacious. The beds were comfortable. The washer and dryer were incredible to have, especially because we unfortunately had a soggy, muddy week. Chocolates on our pillows. A bottle of wine and orange juice compliments of the hosts. Christina was very responsive. The only downside was the need to coordinate arrival and departure times instead of just having a keybox for flexibility, but it was nice to meet Christina. Also, visitor taxes were not included in the price, so we had to leave extra money for that. About $114 for 4 people for 6 nights. We went all over the Bernese Oberland area, on almost every train and gondola, and by far I think this would be the best central location to minimize commute times. Numerous good restaurants nearby...try Kreuz and Post, Barry's, Golden India, and Jasmine Garden...but make reservations. Even in low season they do book up.

Very nice 4 bedroom in the middle of the village. A short walk to everything you need or want to do in Grindelwald. Park your car and enjoy your vacation!

We had an excellent time here. The property well exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect location. Right in the Centre of Grindelwald. It was spotless, spacious, had everything you could need. Great having a washer and dryer. Christina was great, no issues at all. Would highly recommend staying here and we would stay here again.

We enjoyed staying at Christina's property in Grindelwald. The apartment was very well located, close to the grocery store and in a convenient location to start several hiking trails. Also, it is at walking distance to bus stop and train station. The kitchen is very well equipped. We enjoyed cooking at the house since the apartment has everything that we needed. Our flight was delayed and Christina was so kind to buy some pasta to welcome us since she knew that the grocery store was closed by our arrival.
