Can’t possibly come back soon enough! That should tell you exactly what we thought of this beautiful, private rustic place. The bed was super comfy. We enjoyed building fires in the Swedish fireplace. The kitchen contained all the conveniences of home. Love the wrap around deck and enjoyed feeding the birds. The hot tub was a highlight of the trip not to mention, you are close to the ocean and the river. Enjoyed the mornings with the fog rolling in and out. We enjoyed our coastal trips to Guerneville, which is 30 minutes away, where there is a Safeway and to Bodega Bay, which is 20 minutes away. We loved the little a town of Duncan Mills, which had the most wonderful, bakery and gift shops. Did I mention gazing at the stars from our bedroom skylight?

We had a wonderful relaxing weekend for a second time at The Haven. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed having the hot tub and grill. The location is perfect for watching the sunset or the stars at night. We will definitely return!

Property in well kept. The outside could use plenty of t.l.c. (weather worn). Nothing a couple coats of good sealer wouldn't cure. All in All the Haven is nice,clean, and tucked back un a beautiful canyon. The gardens are beautiful and well kept. Beautiful and peaceful with beautiful views in all directions 😍

It was Perfect ... we enjoyed every day, every moment ... and the local Thursday night movie. The mattress great in the alcove. For a queen size bed ... both of us comfortable and did not feel the other moving around. And our friend survived the up and down the ladder to your loft space ... and enjoyed it very much. We might love to rent again next year.

Beautiful location. House has everything you need Bedroom upstairs very difficult to get too . 7 year old grandson got up there but afraid to sleep the night

Cozy and clean with everything you need. We loved all the quails and watching the hummers from the deck while watching the fog roll in. Serene and quiet. Our dog loved it, except for the neighbor with the German Shepherd which tried to leap the deck gate before he was finally retrieved. Can’t blame our Hosts for that! All in all we were very happy with The Haven. You should give it a try!

Our stay at The Haven was all we imagined and more. It was a perfect retreat for us two now married some 55 years and counting. My wife and I stayed at the haven for four nights for our fifth year wedding anniversary. The place was so quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The house was equipped with everything we could possibly need and very comfortable. The deck had views of the Russian River and a sliver of ocean. Check in was easy as can be. We will definitely be staying here again in the future. Highly recommended!

The place was spotless, kitchen was well-equipped and the location is very quiet and peaceful. The place matches the pictures exactly so no surprises.

Just spent 5 nights at this special place and loved it! It is a little gem of a place. Spotlessly clean, nicely appointed with lots of little thoughtful touches that make it amazing. It is private and serene, with a large wraparound deck with views to the river, the sea, and surrounding hills covered in beautiful trees and foliage With all the recent rain, a vernal stream gushed by below the property, providing a soothing soundtrack to the setting. A lovely fenced yard, nicely landscaped, provided a great space for the dogs as well as the hot tub which was so clean and stayed the constant perfect temperature. The interior space is primarily comprised of a large room with a comfortable dining area and a living area with dish cable TV and a DVD player. Also an excellent freestanding fireplace, that burned clean and provided great heat (there is also a wall heater). There was a great supply of wood, kindling, fire starters and matchwands provided. This great room is fronted by the expansive deck, At the back of the living area is a bedroom alcove, compact, but with a very comfortable bed, reading lamps and closet space. At the back of the dining area is the kitchen, also compact, but well equipped. With pots, pans, blender, coffee makers (with coffee provided) knives, cutting boards, utensils, baking equipment ,tea, oil salt and pepper. Electric glass top stove and separate wall oven. Dishwasher, with dish soap and cleaning supplies. There is door onto the deck at the back of the kitchen with a metal table and chairs which provided a nice spot to have breakfast and lunch while looking down onto the garden. Another door onto the deck between the kitchen and dining area, and yet another door to the deck at the front between the dining and living areas. This place benefits from lots of well placed windows which bring a harmonious balance of light to the interior (including a large skylight over the bed which made for very comfortable star gazing!) Sandwiched between the sleeping alcove and the kitchen is the bathroom which is small but serves the purpose, with a toilet closet (which can be accessed by folding doors from the bedroom or the bathroom), which has a sink and mirror, a sunken claw foot tub and a shower stall. Body wash, shampoo and TP provided. Also bath towels, which we also used for the hot tub or you could bring beach towels. We’ve stayed in a number of rentals in Jenner over the years. This was one of the best!

The Haven is a beautiful piece of property with amazing views. Secluded yet close enough to walk to coffee in Jenner. Our pup loved the spacious fenced yard.

The Haven was a rustic, magical experience but contained all the amenities one would need. It was cozy, romantic, and a perfect retreat for a couple. The bed was comfortable, the views were outstanding, and the hot tub was wonderful. We will come back and stay again!

Sunken claw-foot bathtub in the bathroom may make it a little tricky to take a toddler there. Overall, a wonderful experience!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! The location is perfect, very private with beautiful sun all day. The bedding and towels are first class, everything is super clean and working well. The wood burning fireplace is a creat addition and provides for a romantic and cozy setting. Thank you to Carrie for sharing this beautiful vacation home with us 🤗

Nice place to relax yet walk to Jenner for a sandwich or coffee. Highlights are the hot tub and wood stove and the place is stocked with plenty of wood. A well equipped kitchen for those looking to create a dinner or just reheat leftovers.

Celebrated our 25th Anniversary here and everything was perfect. Clean. Well equipped. Great location. Silence and privacy. Hot tub was awesome. Local activities galore. Wineries. Sightseeing. We will be back and recommending to friends and family!!!

An enchanting place; the hot tub, the partially covered porch and the picture windows of the cabin enabled us to take full advantage of the outdoors, observing and listening to hummingbirds and other birds, staring at the sky and stars at night, tracking the evolution of the fog in the morning, etc. We could relax and unwind. The cabin is small but well designed; there is a small porch just off the kitchen with a table for easy outdoor meals (it’s actually a wrap-around porch, connecting with the south side which is partially covered). While we had been in Jenner before, we had focused on the coast line. This stay let us discover the « back country » (the hills of Jenner) which is well worth it. The kitchen is well equipped but bring your coffee or tea for the morning if your want any (sugar and anything else you might want with your coffee as well); same is true for cooking (oil, salt and pepper were provided). This was mentioned in the rental agreement, so read it carefully. A helpful list of places to eat in Jenner and a few miles away was provided ahead of time. Overall, a unique place we will certainly go back to..
