We really loved the quirkiness of the house, great location and close to all amenities, only thing that let it down was cleanliness of kitchen and upstairs toilet.

Excellent place to stay, great location.

Great location, lots of character and really well equipped and looked after, we had a great time. One minor thing, there's a big step down to the shower so not really suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

This property was perfect for our three night stay. The old world, retro feel was something that we enjoyed as a family. The bach itself has everything a family of 5 could need and more.
It felt like a home away from
Home because like any home that is a dated property, expect to hear creaks and find some dust in corners. There were some issues with internet speed - but it didn’t bother us as we were there to relax and attend a wedding.
If there are members in your travel party that have trouble with mobility, this isn’t the property for you. One must use stairs to get to the kitchen/lounge, and the toilet bowls sit low. Expect to feel super warm on hot sunny says when indoors. The table fans provided came in handy and leaving the massive French door open ay all times helped. I imagine the home would be cosy in the winter because of the two fireplaces in the lounge.
Ron was a perfect host, attentive with details and although he lives right next door - it was like we were there on our own.
We loved our stay there and will definitely visit again. Thanks Ron!

This house is one in a million; completely unique and decorated with an artists eye.
Sure there are some quirks and the decor is a little tired, but it's such a spacious and light filled home with surprises in every corner. Lovely outlook from many windows too, and the mesh windows are genius!
The host, Ron is delightful. We would definitely stay again if we're in the area.

Comfortable lounge area and beds but generally rather grubby inside and unkempt outside. Lots of ants.

The photos are accurate and this place isn’t for everyone. I loved the quirkiness of it but it certainly creaks and has lots of stairs. Very quiet neighbourhood yet very close to town. Everything we needed for 5 days. Ron greeted us on arrival even though it was around 8pm and made sure we were settled.
SkyTV but no movies which would have made it perfect on the rainy days. Still we managed, and overall had a great time. Thank you

Absolutely loved this house! It is so unique in its design and furnishing that we absolutely loved staying there. Ron the property manager was really organised, quick to communicate, friendly and efficient. Even though it was August we were nice and warm. We had a great stay here. It's a very interesting home with lots of space and close to the city. The 2nd upstairs toilet is a little bit exposed with only a curtain for privacy but not a deal breaker. The home is in a bit of a gulley which means it gets cold in winter but there are 2 gas heaters that provide more than enough heat. I loved the quirky layout and decor which is dated but in good condition. Landlord is a nice chap and lives next door so that's helpful. Happy to recommend it to others 😊

My partner and i loved our stay at the house, especially as we were able to bring our new kitten with us - removing the hassle of finding someone to look after her or us simply not going at all. Very central spot; really easy to nip out and about. The owner was also very lovely - we were late in our check in and he had already put the heater on so it would be warm for us when we arrived. Thoroughly appreciated that as it was a cold night!
Just a great experience staying there and would stay again :)

Had a wonderful stay, had all that we needed. Quirky layout but spacious. Good pressure in the shower. As it is winter we left the fire ticking over at night to keep the house warm downstairs, upstairs was beautiful and warm the whole time

My husband and I were travelling with my daughter, hubby and 3 boys.
The accommodation met all our needs and was very quirky and lots of things for the boys to discover in the yard.
The furniture was comfortable with plenty of seating for everyone.
Thank you Ron for opening your home up to us.
It was very obvious that it was a much loved home that you built.

Excellent stay. The house has a lot of character and has a very homely feel. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely book here again if in the area. It was really cold in the rooms. We struggled to watch any kind of TV, we couldn’t get the Sky to connect unfortunately which would have been nice. Had to settle with some DVDs that is kindly supplied. The house is very conveniently located and close to town.

We were 6 ladies 40+ travelling together for our annual getaway. The house was perfect and spacious enough for us to spread out. The location is great as we could walk to town or an Uber was less than $10.
