Excellent location and wonderful accommodation

The lodge was spacious and in a good position within the grounds.

The lack of cleanliness was totally unacceptable., especially considering the cost of this accommodation. The wooden Venetian blinds, living room tables and units, shelves, kitchen unit doors, fire extinguishers etc etc were covered in dust and grime. This was highlighted to the reception manager who appeared to take umbrage to the fact that the place was unclean. A half hearted effort was made to rectify the situation and “cleaner(s)” were apparently sent into the lodge to dust/clean. However the blinds etc were still covered in dust after this was allegedly done. A bottle of Prosecco was left for our inconvenience but would have much rather have had somewhere clean to enjoy.

Perfect location , everything was nice and clean , the restaurant on site was great . Highly recommend

The fire pits could be emptied in between guests
