Les chiens errants qui viennent boire et faire leur besoins dans la piscine… la propreté des chambres et du restaurant est à revoir, je ne parle pas du bureau de la réception qui est pire… Rapport qualité prix non correcte, nous avons fait des séjours au même prix dans des endroits bien supérieurs… déçus.

Paradis i jungelen! Unike mennesker som driver stedet, du blir møtt med hjertevarme og får en følelse av å komme hjem. Å sitte i hagen og nyte utsikt av påfugler, apekatter og masse andre dyrelyder var nydelig og gav sjelefred. Kort vei til Yala nasjonalpark, personalet ordnet med safari i en del av parken hvor det ikke var for mange jeeper. Fikk observere elefanter, krokodiller og mange andre dyr.

Die Unterkunft liegt perfekt für einen Besuch auf der Safari :) Die Unterkunft ist sauber, die Zimmer entsprechen dem europäischen Standard. Sehr bequeme Betten und modern. Für eine Abkühlung dienst der Pool, der jeden Morgen von einem Mitarbeiter gesäubert wird. Die Chefin und das ganze Team sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auf der Anlage kann man gelegentlich Affen in den Bäumen beobachten. Am Abend gab es ein sehr feines regionales Buffet. Mit verschiedenen Speisen, um den Touristen das Land kulinarisch näher zu bringen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, wir würden sofort wieder kommen! Großes Lob an das ganze Team!

Les petits déjeuners et les repas du soir copieux et très bons Anne est toujours présente avec sa gentillesse Anne peut s occuper de réserver des safaris,des tuk tuk ou taxis,possibilité de faire du bateau sur le lac Nous avons pu voir les buffles , les singes et beaucoup d oiseaux dont des toucans. Nous avons rencontré les habitants des petits villages aux alentours, très gentils et souriants A 4 km de l hôtel il y a des banques ,des supermarchés et un marché La piscine était bien entretenue

Le cadre magnifique, la chambre parfaite, et nous avons prix le tarif avec petit déjeuner et souper nous avons jamais si bien mangés c'était délicieux un grand merci à Anne et tout le personnel qui l'entoure Ha oui aller voir le magnifique arbre au fond du jardin il est incroyable.

Although we arrived late, the staff prepared us dinner which was delicious... If you're staying at Tranquil Wild be sure to try the lake fish. We did the village tour in the morning and went there with a tractor which added to the fun. We had some coffee and helapa (something else that you should try) in the rice paddy fields.... We're glad we stayed the morning to experience the village before we took of to our next destination. Tranquil Wild arranges safaris to Lunugamvehera National Park which is another activity that you can do while staying here. Overall, Tranquil Wild is quite relaxing and an ideal place to disconnect from the rest of the world.

Would be nice to have bicycles if someone wants to ride around the village.. also the toilets need some maintenance and better cleaning.

Das Tranquil Wild liegt sehr abgelegen an einem See, an dem morgens eine Wasserbüffelherde vorbei zieht und Affen zum Frühstücken vorbei kommen. Es eignet sich ideal als Ausgangspunkt für eine Safari in den Lunugamvehera National Park (Yala Block VI). Dieser Teil des National Parks ist deutlich weniger frequentiert - wir waren der einzige Jeep und konnten ungestört die Natur genießen und eine Elefantenherde beim Fressen am Wasser beobachten. Im Zimmer hatten wir sehr warmes Wasser und das angebotene Essen war ebenfalls sehr gut. Amal hat unseren Aufenthalt zudem zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Zu meinem Geburtstag hat er einen Kuchen organisiert und uns als unser Fahrer ausfiel kurzerhand selbst bis nach Unawatuna gefahren. Ganz lieben Dank für diesen außergewöhnlichen Service! 💚

Das Anwesen ist sehr groß und bietet neben einem Pool viele Rückzugsmöglichkeiten, könnte aber ein wenig mehr Pflege gebrauchen. Bei den warmen Temperaturen wäre eine tägliche Zimmerreinigung wünschenswert, aber dies ist auf Anfrage sicherlich möglich.

This place is just amazing. Anne is the owner/manager of this place, and she is accompanied by a group of lovely staff that will go above and beyond to make you stay comfortable and memorable. The place itself is very well designed to give the guests full access nature while enjoying the modern amenities.

the garden is beautiful and full of playing monkeys. water buffalo in the lake. the staff are so nice. food is amazing. it was just so peaceful there

being so close to nature, having freedom of just see animals, jump in the pool at all time, enjoy their breakfast and amazing food made from the best possible host Amal was just amazing. definitely a must if you want to spend some quietness after/before the south

internet wasn’t the best

a romantic privacy trip with a beautiful flowers , walking peacocks, birds singing , marvellous lake views, clean swimming pool and comfortable room with panoramic windows and high ceilings. There are bank, wine store , market and supermarket about 2 km from hotel.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel, the staff is amazing, Amal is a great cook and a lovely human being who even took us to the hospital when we needed. I recommend the lake fish and the vegetable omelet in the morning! And please don’t miss the night boat tour, it’s a gem

Everything exceeded my expectations from the moment I walked through the front gates to the minute I stepped out. Amal greeted us with a delicious welcome drink and showed us around to our rooms and the outside area. He arranged a safari for us even though we didn’t have much time left of the day and catered to our every request. We got the most amazing hotel food we’ve had our whole duration in Sri Lanka -especially the rice and curry we had for dinner was exceptional!! The rooms were so comfortable (had a great sleep that night) and the bathrooms were clean. The place has lots of wildlife -we saw many birds, buffalo’s and there’s a few friendly dogs on the property as well. Would definitely recommend and visit again, thanks so much to Hazel as well for making our stay so memorable!

Breakfast was good, staff was extremely friendly and helpful, they organized a driver to NP and a Guide with Car, also a driver to next destination for fair prise! We had a room upgrade, best room during our 2weeks Sri Lanka, first accommodation with decent shower!! The pool was great with view of the herd of buffaloes at the waterhole.

Little tiny flies everywhere outside, flying around your face was really annoying Not much to do around

Breakfast was an English cooked breakfast and very welcome after an early morning safari Lovely location with a lovely walkway. had an evening meal which was good as the accommodation is a little remote and the meal was really good.

Swimming pool cloudy so didn’t feel comfortable to use

The hostess Anne was just fabulous. The staff was courteous and accommodating. The place is family friendly. The food was great. For breakfast you can choose between Srilankan and English. Reminds you of good quality home-style honest cooking with soul. All in all, a fabulous experience right in the middle of the wild.
