Location was perfect as was the free port wine and tarts
They seemed to skimp on water and facial tissue (no tissues).

This hotel has a great location in a Lisbon city center a few minutes from the major Lisbon sights and so close to the Rossio square. We took Uber/Bolt to/from the airport for less than 10 euro and to the Belem neighborhood for about 6-7 euro. One reason that makes this hotel so great is the people that work in the lobby. The hotel staff is awesome, very nice people. They helped us to celebrate our special event with a complimentary bottle of champagne. The room was very clean, the street is noisy but we could not hear anything with closed windows.
The room is on a smaller side but was enough space for the two of us for a few days.

location
The room is simply too small to be comfortable for two people. fancy decorating is not cover up the fact that one tiny chair and one tiny table is not adequate for two people. The sink in the bathroom was ridiculously small, and had a huge top sticking up in the middle of it.

Location was great. Right on Rue Augusta, near the Arc, shops, many restaurants. Great breakfast including fruits, vegetables, eggs, sausage, sweets, etc
Street performers play late into the night sometimes till midnight so a bit noisy location if you want to sleep early.

Comfortable hotel in a great location. Free custard tarts and port were a nice touch. Room well enough equipped for a short stay and the bed was comfortable
Smell in toilet and room a bit too warm for us.

During a three week trip to Portugal we stayed twice at this hotel. At the beginning and the end of the trip. Great location. Just a few minutes from Rossio metro station which connected to the airport...which made arriving and leaving the country very easy and inexpensive. We had a first floor room on the first stay and a second floor room on our last two days in Lisbon. We had breakfast for the stay. No breakfast for the last two days. This had to do with our booking usin Booking.com. The Hotel was less generous than Booking.com
Rooms were pretty small. Hard to gripe though overall.

loved everything about the property. The staff is top notch and will help you with everything you need. They went above and beyond for me after I lost a bag in Amsterdam to help me reunite with my bag in a different country . Super nice.

Ideal location - very central and handy for metro from airport
Extra charges for water after first day, so same allowance for someone staying one night as for 7 nights which seemed a bit mean. also coffee not replenished regularly as promised.

Location was excellent, close to shops, transport links, river.
Staff always helpful and smiley.
Good quality and value breakfast.
Room cleaned every day.
Great price through Booking.com.
While the room was an adequate size, it could have done with a few more shelves or a drawer unit.
Also, we didn't have the best of views, overlooking the back of another building with loads of rubbish. Which meant it didn't have a lot of daylight. However, we were hardly in the room as there was so much to see and do in Lisbon.

The staff was fantastic. The morning team was always helpful and ready with a pastry. The cleaning service was thorough and the US Marine Corp would be proud of the bed making skills. The wifi was also solid.
The walls are thin and talking in the hallway or near the doors carries.

The location was amazing, right beside all of the major sightseeing areas. We stayed in a double room on the top floor and we had a little balcony facing the street which was beautiful. The room was the perfect size for 2 people and for a city trip. I will be back and would recommend this hotel to anyone!

You can’t get a better location!! it was perfect! in the middle of the buzzy centre. Staff was very nice, polite and helpful. They offered us a contemporary glass of Porto on arrival, explained the main attractions in the city. Very helpful. I was also impressed with the housekeeping, very thorough. Little balcony was cute. The room was big enough for a couple with 2 suitcases. Safe and a fridge in the room. Breakfast with variety of foods. Fruit and cakes. Lovely setting.
I would not say I didn’t like, but something the hotel management could look into. The room could have been decorated better and by this I mean a picture or a frame on the wall. It just looked very clinical. Only one bottle of water free. I think tap water in a hot climate country should be provided free of charge. And the cleaners did not wash our glasses on the last night. On that note I will say again the room was always cleaned and left absolutely immaculate for us!

Be Poet Baixa, a boutique hotel, is perfectly located in central Baixa for a first time exploration of Lisbon. A short walk to Rick Steves’s walking tours, a 6 minute walk to the Rossio Station for a day trip to Sintra and a 4 minute walk to Praça da Figueira with tramway service to Belem. The rooms are small but nicely decorated and well-appointed with a Nespresso type machine, safe, hairdryer, good Wi-Fi connection and plenty of outlets for charging electronics. Some rooms overlook the busy pedestrian Rue Augusta, but the windows are sound proofed and do a good job at keeping most of the noise out. The bed is comfortable with soft sheets. The bathroom is smallish but has counter space around the sink and a reasonably good sized shower. There is some storage for hanging clothes and a place to put one suitcase but not much more. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Breakfast served in their restaurant had a nice selection of mostly cold buffet items – breads and rolls, cheeses and cold cuts, a good selection of sliced fruits, cut vegetables, yogurt, cereal, a large selection of pastries, jams and juice. For hot items they had two kinds of scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, beans and mushrooms. Filtered coffee is served to your table.
Room is a bit small

The location is great..Central to everything. The street in front of the hotel is closed to traffic so note if taking taxi or uber you will have to walk 1/2 block to the hotel. Breakfast was good as it is in restaurant next door to the hotel. Staff amazing and helpful
No shelves in the room to store things.

Good location, clean rooms, most of the staff were lovely
Unfortunately my room (303) had something wrong with the floor that made footsteps from adjoining rooms vibrate through the floorboards and move my bed so I couldn’t sleep. When I raised the issue with the front desk, the staff member who came up to check didn’t offer any solutions. In the end I only got about 5 hours of sleep each of those nights and I was very disappointed that the staff did not seem to care that it was impossible to sleep in the room.

Reception staff very friendly, polite and available to satisfy tourist requirements (transport, restaurant, etc.).
Hotel located in a splendid position, at the heart of Baixa Barrio. Every day Porto wine and typical Lisbon cakes (pasteis de nata) are offered to customers, and we enjoined them a lot.

The bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. Great touch being received with port wine and custard tarts when checking in. The staff were super friendly. Perfect location. The room was clean.
It didn't bother us as we were out most of the day, but the room was dark as it faced an internal patio.

Fantastic, friendly staff - particularly the male receptionists. Super helpful and thoughtful, recognising from my passport my birthday was during my stay and brought a cake and port to my room. Was a very kind gesture. Thank you immensely.
Location is second to none and much more convenient than I expected.
The smell from the restaurant next door came through my air con vent at 6am, so I had to sleep with the air con switched off.
The city tax - €2 per night - was unexpected and a little cheeky of the city (not the hotel) I think, given all the tourists spend on a daily basis in Lisbon.
