My family enjoyed this little slice of heaven right on the quiet beach. They were most happy with catching sharks at high tide right from the shore and building sandcastles. Rehoboth beach and Boardwalk were very easily accessible. The kitchen was very well stocked and felt just like home.

We had a marvelous week. House is very nice and comfortable. It’s right on the beach, which is the Bay and that was great for the kids. I highly recommend this house to any family looking for peace and quiet along with beautiful views.

We had a great time! The kitchen was well stocked and the house was very clean. We walked out the back door to the beach and went kayaking and used our paddleboards. Convenient location for shopping and nearby beaches. The property has a great assortment of plants and trees. We will be going again!

The four bedrooms and shared spaces provided so many places to be in the house as well as outside on the wraparound porch with big picnic table and chairs, bench inset front beach as well as the beach right there! Two minor things needing to be addressed - ugly pile of wood scraps and other debris next to wooden walkway to beach and knob on dryer didn’t work. We hope to return again!

We are repeated customers. So we knew what to expect. We had a wonderful time as usual. Lesley, the host was easy to communicate. The house & the kitchen are well stocked.

The house was bigger and nicer than expected, and it was very nice to be right on the water and see it from the huge deck. The beach has lots of pebbles and horse shoe crabs, to be expected in Slaughter beach. It wasn't swimmable but made for nice walks. The upstairs furniture could use some love and updating but overall we were happy. It's a great quiet location and an easy drive to Rehobeth, Dewey, Bethany, etc.

The house has plenty of room. 3 different sitting room areas helped us to have space to relax. Read to the kids. Watch TV. All at the same time. Lesley is super responsive.

Thank you so much for our wonderful week at the beach! The house is even nicer than it looks in pictures - lots of space, multiple common areas, everything very cozy and beautifully decorated. Can’t get any better than walking down the deck steps right to the beach. Beach was just right for our small kids playing in the sand and the grownups to read and sunbathe. Ocean does get mucky at low tide, but we didn’t mind - awesome time to put on our water shoes and find teeny hermit crabs. Over the week we got to know the neighbors along the beach, everyone so friendly and kind. It was nice to recognize people on our walks but still have tons of privacy. It was a busy day on the beach when we saw more than two other people at a time! House has all the amenities you can need. So nice to have a washer and dryer so we can pack minimal clothes. Deck does not have any umbrellas or shading but because it faces east it’s no problem, sun is mostly at the other side if the house by the time it’s really hot. Thank you so much for letting us stay, we’re already talking about coming back!

We had an excellent stay at Lesley's property on Slaughter Beach. The house fit all of our needs well, and we had no issues with cleanliness or mechanics. The beach itself wasn't exactly swimmable due to the Horseshoe crabs, but it was nice for wildlife viewing, and Rehoboth is only a short drive away.

Leslie, Thank you for sharing your home. The house was nicely decorated, clean, and welcoming. There was plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed kayaking, watching sunsets and sunrises, playing foosball and corn hole. Overall, we had a great time! We would definitely consider staying here again in the future. Best, Natalya

The house is large and was quite comfortable for our extended family of four adults and two children. Its location right on the bay can’t be beat. The kitchen is well appointed, and the home is recently renovated. Would recommend for a group looking for a quiet stay on the water.

The location / beach front is what brought us back!! It was cool but not cold to keep the kids from beach. Enjoyed the quiet family time together.

Loved the location of this house and proximity to the beach. Very private! The drain in the tub was broken which made bathing children tough.
