We enjoyed being a street away from the beach and it was also an easy walking distance to all our favorite bars and restaurants in Pacific Beach!

The apartment was withing walking distance of the beach, restaurants, grocery stores, bars, and souvenir shops. We were able to easily drive into downtown San Diego for other activities that we were interested in. The only thing I was disappointed with was there was not any air conditioning. We are from a colder climate and found that part uncomfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in CA. This will likely be the last time we will spend a vacation with just our little family as our kiddo's are growing up and moving out.

We had the pleasure of staying in this cute little apartment for over a month. It was super clean and very well appointed. It was such a perfect location…quiet neighborhood and a super quick walk to the beach. Also a nice touch to have boogie boards and chairs available for use. We already booked for next year! This place is really a gem and great find!

Clean and well furnished house one block apart from the beach and less than 10 minutes walking from bars and restaurants. I had a car so it was very easy to move around from there.

The location is great, and the apartment is well suited to a family with kids. The third "bed" in the living room (couch that converts to a less-than-full-size bed) is not a great option for an adult, but works in a pinch. Very sunny. We would stay here again!

We have stayed at this property multiple times, each time it's been perfect! Management is always responsive and accommodating. Can't beat the location, just a few steps to the beach and Pacific Beach restaurants and shopping. We are looking forward to booking again next year!

Visiting San Diego
Everything about this property was exactly what we hoped for. Perfect location. Clean and comfortable. Steps away from the beach, restaurants, and bars. My family and I had a great time here. I have a large truck which was a tight fit for this area but Megan called me when I arrived and helped me figure out the parking situation. I would definitely return.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was perfect for our needs and we loved that we could walk to the beach. Our only complaint about the apartment itself is that the pillows were so flat we couldn’t sleep comfortably and we had to buy new pillows to get us by. I saw someone else complained about the toilet paper, and I also agree that the quality could be much better. I loved that there was a fence around the property, even if the gate wasn’t closed, it still gave us privacy. There is a large homeless population in the area and the fence gave us some separation.

We could have stayed at a number of 'regular' hotel properties but found this to be a perfect location. The short walk to the beach was perfect, the accessibility to nice restaurants also perfect. The apartment was very clean and while simple also nicely appointed. I think of it as a bungalow type of retreat in a perfect location with easy walking to restaurants. The only real issue was the parking which was very challenging, the garage is small and on street parking could be a bit difficult. Overall, I would definitely stay at this property again and hope to!

We rented this place based on cost and location-both are fantastic! Not even a block east of ocean access, you can hear the waves and smell the ocean on the breeze. The property was very clean and welcoming, the bed is extremely comfortable, plenty of hangers in the closets, lots of beach towels and regular towels... Also easy to get to La Jolla, downtown, anywhere! It really was perfect! We ended up booking at the last minute and had zero problems getting info from the property manager in time. This is definitely staying on our list of places to rebook!!!

The best part of this apartment is the location. The beach is a minute away and all the PB bars/restaurants are within walking distance. La Jolla is a short drive away too! The place was older but pretty clean and was perfect for our 1 month stay. Loved it!

Megan was excellent and brought over some trial sized soap/shampoo since the big bottles had been removed due to COVID. She also was kind enough to make restaurant recommendations when I asked. The apartment is older and a bit creaky,but has everything we needed and fit our family of 4 well for a beach vacay. Kids had their own twin beds. It was closer to head back to the condo for bathroom breaks at the beach than it would have been to walk to the beach bathroom, which was very convenient! Good wifi, felt safe. Quieter than main PB. We wod happily return.

Great location
Comfortable and clean, with a great location. We were able to hire wetsuits, head to the beach, and find a lot of restaurants, all within easy walking distance. Driving to San Diego downtown, or to La Jolla, was easy and without much traffic. The building is fairly old, and with that comes a bit of noise from neighboring apartments, but this wasn't a problem.

Wonderful location for beach!
Megan was very responsive and helpful. Location is fantastic for beach. Towels, chairs, umbrellas provided for two or three people. Boogie boards and outdoor shower shared w other units but we found they were always available. We had no problem w noise. Beds are very comfortable. No smart TV so we watched Netflix on our phones in the evening. Restaurants nearby tend to be a college/club vibe. Kono’s was great for coffee/breakfast, also enjoyed World Famous. Bike rental and scooters are prolific. Overall a wonderful vacation, very pleased.

Great except ...
The location, set up, facilities etc were perfect for us …. and then the family of 3 adults and 5 young boys came to stay in the apartment upstairs. They woke before 0600 and then ran around a lot. Boys on wooden floor boards at that time of day meant we were woken each morning …. and the night they all went out for dinner and came back late.

Great location in PB
I was hesitant to book this rental because there were not many reviews, which I rely on for helpful information when booking through this site. Hopefully this is helpful for future guests. The pros for us: IDEAL location, great parking, safe neighborhood, walking distance to plenty of shops/restaurants, awesome property manager (Megan), clean-ish rental, and comfy beds. Cons: no on-site laundry, and the noise! We were in a downstairs unit and the upstairs neighbors were as respectful as possible, but with an older building and hardwood floors, you unfortunately hear everything. :( We wore ear plugs at night but our little kiddos struggled getting to sleep...and staying asleep. The location, price, and property manager are worth the good rating. I'd recommend, but just make sure you bring some ear plugs!
