TV and heating and cooker/hob and shower all modern and worked very well. Beds comfortable, location excellent. No more than 20 or 30 minutes walk to Edinburgh Castle, the vaults, and a bit farther, but still not a long walk, to Holyrood Palace, Dynamic Earth and the National Museum of Scotland. Plenty of restaurants very near the apartment, as well as a handy Tesco for buying groceries.
1. Directions to the apartment were very poor. We had difficulty finding it, even using the postcode and Google Maps. There was not even a number 3 on the apartment door, to identify it clearly. Instead somebody's name was on the door, which had not been mentioned in the directions, making us think we must be in the wrong place. 2.Bannisters felt wobbly on the steep, narrow, winding stone stairs leading up to the apartment. Repair/reinforcement needed for safety.

A poche centinaia di metri dal centro e dai mezzi di trasporto.
Silenziosa, a parte il pavimento in legno che scricchiolava ad ogni passo😅

Spacious but only has a small bathroom. Good location.
Should indicate that if there are issues with mobility this property is not ideal. 2 floors of poorly kept stairs and rickety railing. With luggage it was not a good fit. Kitchen did not have any paper towels and no facial tissues. For the price we were expecting a more well kept property. Use of the laundry facility would have been helpful too.
