lovely apartment and parked right outside x narrow drive through the gates though
just a few cob webbs, and one of the sky blinds would no shut. which let a lot of morning light in x could do with blackout blinds x

It was difficult at night bringing up luggage and trying to negotiate the gates

Excellent breakfast, polite ,friendly and helpful staff , accommodation was spot on , lovely and clean , great location as you walk straight onto the main Cardigan shopping street through the castle gates

Delightful small cottage like studio appartment. Quite spacious and well planned and tastefully furnished . A neat eating and cooking area. Small kitchen which when closed looked like a Welsh dresser. Lovely restful gardens and direct foot access to main street. Appartment had private forecourt with table, chairs and brolly. Shower room very spacious and well appointed.
Great breakfast at restaurant. Very helpful staff at reception/shop. Very good value for money paid.
Parking facilities took a while to get used to. Approach gates quite narrow and number code needed for access. Unfortunately we had an overnight emergency. Car park had no night lighting which delayed our leaving for the hospital. Plus no staff to help in an emergency over night.

Nice breakfast.
Restaurant closed at 5pm. No nice restaurant in the vicinity, we eventually found a pub serving food. It was ok.

The location was ideal for everything we wanted from our stay, shops, restaurants, and general getting around. Very comfortable large room and bathroom. The breakfast room was very nice and the food matched. Free entry into the castle grounds during activities they had on was an added bonus.
Even though I said the breakfast was good, there could have been more choices for the residents of the accommodation ( that's just nitpicking).

1 room for family - good beds, good shower, breakfast was very good with traditional and Welsh breakfast. We enjoyed our stay, parking available next to appartment, friendly and helpful people. We had a Netflix issue(no network) and were helped immediately!
no cooking possible except a microwave and toaster - but with breakfast included we didn't need it.

An interesting historic setting with fantastic views. On site parking. Easy access to town with shops and cinema. Great breakfast

Very good breakfast and service was excellent. Plenty of choice. Very pleasant restaurant situated in the grounds of the castle.
The only problem I had was that I did not expect so many stairs to climb to our room. I do suffer with breathlessness, maybe I should have rang and consulted with staff before we went, living in a castle is not on one or two floors.

The room was like a home from home with excellent facilities,with descent hair dryer,good size tv and a fan. Having breakfast in the restaurant was out of this world. It was also rather special having the castle to ourselves after closing time

Apartment was perfect for me and my mum, very well equipped, comfortable and very clean
The bedrooms were in the roof so had to be careful not to bump my head on the sloping ceiling!

Location is right in the centre of town with pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance.
Nothing to dislike about the property or the accommodation, cardigan itself is quiet on a Sunday.

The location, the room and breakfast were exceptional.
We arrived when no staff present and once we found the entrance to park the car the instructions to find the room were not clear.

Excellent location on the main shopping street. Spacious accommodation, spotlessly clean and very well equipped.
The 32 steps up to the apartment were challenging with luggage. Parking area very small and difficult to manoeuvre.

Everything was amazing from the moment we arrived...extremely helpful staff ...breakfast was delicious...would have liked restaurant to be open in the evening

The room was beautifully presented, clean and spacious. It had all the little touches we needed, such as coffee facilities and toiletries in the bathroom.
Instructions for parking were clear and easy to follow. Location was fantastic for exploring the town.
The highlight of our stay has to be the staff - everyone we met couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly.
We could hear a bit of noise in the corridor from other guests but nothing that that disturbed us too much.

The location is excellent . The breakfast also is first class . The young lady at breakfast time is a great asset to the castle
She was very helpful as this time we found the breakfast menu confusing . Previous visit breakfast was included in the price quoted .
She also helped regarding finding out way around . .
The grounds are beautiful and it is a very quiet place to recharge ones batteries . So peaceful .
We preferred staying in the rooms opposite the castle shop .where we had stayed previously . Although the room above the shop in main rd was bigger it seemed we were detached from the castle . . The bed wasn't as comfortable either but the price is so good for such excellent accomodation

The location, the standard of the room, the quality of sleep, the breakfast…combined with the staff, who were all excellent…made for a wonderful stay.

Room was spacious with lovely views, breakfast in Gegin was exceptional, all staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful, highly recommend.
Having to check out by 10 only niggle, breakfast served from 8.30 so to enjoy the excellent breakfast leisurely meant having to pack before breakfast on final day. Also having to pay for extra coffee seemed a little churlish but still very good value
