Highly recommend this flat. It was in a perfect location to explore all of Reykjavik. The old harbor is lovely and has lots of restaurants. Himalayan Spice restaurant was great for curries and Rost for coffee and soups. The walk along the harbor is right across the street. It is a 10 minute to the Harpa Opera house and about five minute walk to downtown Reykjavik. Inga was very responsive to my questions and I look forward to visiting again

Inga was a communicative host! This apartment is in a prime location. It’s in the historic harbor area of Reykjavik, and it is in walking distance to many restaurants and shops. My husband and I stayed in the bedroom while our grown adult children stayed on the living room couch, which is really a lot better than a sofa bed. The couch becomes a queen size bed with a memory foam top that is big enough to share for two. We got coffee and breakfast goods at the little market on the same street. We rented a vehicle for traveling around western and southern Iceland, and we were able to park for free (even overnight) in gravel lot on the right just past the marina hotel that can be seen from the balcony of the apartment (go past the hotel and take a right into the lot). The burger place across the street is great for lunch and the Himalayan restaurant also across the street is delicious! We were able to take a day trip to do the Golden Circle as well as Kerid crater and take a day trip to a hike in Hverageroi and drive to Vik. Awesome apartment to come back to after enjoying Iceland’s wonders!

Very clean and cozy place to stay in Reykjavik, near the old town area. Free easy parking nearby, good host communication, and Iceland is a wonderful place to visit

We loved our stay here as it felt like home after staying in hotels. The property had everything we needed along with a beautiful view , and it was within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the harbor.

Inga was amazing and made sure every question I asked was answered… And in prompt fashion… The place was very clean, and it was perfect for four of us friends to stay… The thing we loved the most is being in downtown Reykjavík near shopping distance, where we could walk and enjoy downtown Reykjavik … the bus stops were easily accessible and we could access tours… it was so smooth and it really helped us. We really Enjoyed our time in Iceland.

This apartment is wonderful. Inga is also wonderful, always replying quickly to any questions. The apartment is centrally located within walking distance to about 50 restaurants within a half mile. Gelato store 6 minutes walk away. There is a small washer and drying rack in apartment. The bedroom is dark and quiet when you pull down the shade and close the drapes. There are large windows in the living room where you see the harbor and many boats. One night I slept on the couch because I wasn't feeling well and you do hear the traffic all night long. I put a pillow over my head and it helped. At times WIFI was spotty, but I dealt with it. There is a clean elevator to take you to the second floor or use the stairs. There is also free parking adjacent to the apartment , but I received a $25 ticket because I parked for over 24 hours. Absolutely no complaints, I would definitely stay her again.

This apartment was so cute and clean. It had everything we needed. The location was perfect. We walked across the street for dinners and excursions from the harbor. We even rented scooters to go a little farther. The owner was amazing and answered any questions I had. I would love to return someday!

We were staying in Reykjavik for a few days after our wedding and needed a well-located but quiet spot just to come down from the wedding craziness and this spot was perfect. Inga was incredibly patient, informative, and flexible when it came to our check in and check out needs. We were moving between two VRBO in the city and she worked with me to find the best solution so that I didn't have to carry my wedding dress all around Reykjavik in the hours between checking out of one place and into hers. Her parents in law happened to be there cleaning up when we checked in and they could not have been sweeter people. We were interrupting their work and yet they made sure we felt welcomed and at home. And the flat, those views, was everything we could have asked for. We would definitely stay here again if we have the chance.

The hosts made it so easy and provided the cleaning basics which was appreciated. TV problem? We could only watch our personal Netflix. It didn't work otherwise. Also the notebook in the apt said free parking on the street but I assumed P2 was pay 0900-1800 which was pretty easy to do. So I'm not sure if the notation was correct. Super great place!!

Our three person family had a terrific stay here. There was great, clear communication leading up to our stay — and the apartment is beautifully appointed. And the view of the harbor … wow! It’s as good if not better than the pictures. It was rainy the first afternoon so we sat and sipped tea and enjoyed a view of the harbor upon arrival. On a nice day, there’s a nice little outdoor deck as well. We had everything we needed for a delightful stay, from a tea kettle and coffee pot to the dishes and array of appliances. Wherever you got those pillows, we are fans. Finally, there’s a helpful guide to places nearby, including several tasty restaurants serving Icelandic fare: Forrettabarin, Hofnin, and Saegreifinn were all just a three minute walk and served great seafood. We won’t forget our wonderful stay anytime soon.
