Bramblebank Cottages

We were in Willow Cottage, which is 1 side of a duplex. (The shared wall is between the living rooms; we heard nothing from next door.) The cottage was absolutely spotless! There was lots of everything we might need - several of each size of towel, lots of dishes, cutlery, mugs, pots, etc. The gas fireplace made it very cozy in the evenings. The grounds are lovely, with lots of places to sit and relax. There were dog dishes, with a no-spill mat, and a flannel sheet (to cover furniture the dog might sit on) supplied for our dog. The cottages are about 2 blocks from the lakefront, which means that it is quiet there, but an easy walk to shops and restaurants.

I cannot think of anything that we wished we had had, and didn't. It was really great.

Very clean and well equipped. Great location and grounds lovely and well kept. Really sorry we had such a short overnight stay would of loved to be there much longer

Getting access was not straightforward

Our group was 7 adults and a 4 year old. We stayed at Magnolia Cottage from December 26 to December 29th, 2025. There was plenty of space for us to be very comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed with all the dishes and accoutrements that our group needed. The soaker tub and steam shower in the main suite were superb. There was never a moment we felt on top of each other, the lay out both inside and out allowed us to feel communal but provided enough space to find quiet if wanted. Kairyn and Melanie went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and to accomodate what we required. A big thank you to them both

The beds were very uncomfortable and in poor repair, including sagging mattresses and creaky frames. The four year old was the only one satisfied with his bed. The stove needs to be replaced. The main burners were failing and the oven didn't maintain temperature. This kitchen had everything we required except a stove that we could count on. This was very disappointing.
